In his later years, Yan Fu returned to Rong and lived in the Flower Hall

Wang Qi (?) –1952), courtesy name Kaishi, graduated from the Fujian Ship Administration School in the late Qing Dynasty and later died in the second phase of the Infantry Section of the Japanese Non-Commissioned Officer School. After returning to China, he first served as a teacher in the Fujian Wubei ShenwuTang, and then promoted to the commander of the 11th Mixed Brigade of the Army. Li Houji, then the governor of Fujian, was suspicious of Wang Qi and gradually weakened Wang Qi's military power, and Wang Qi withdrew and returned home. In 1933, after the 19th Route Army generals Jiang Guangnai, Cai Tingkai and others launched the "Fujian Revolution" in Fuzhou, they invited Wang Qi to serve as an adviser, but at this time, Wang Qi had no intention of making a name for himself, and he did not live at home...

Wang Qi's former residence runs through Ta Lane and Langguan Lane, straight through the three entrances, from large to small arrangement, such a regular courtyard, in the three lanes and seven lanes of the ancient courtyard is rare. The first entrance hall, the front porch is 15 meters wide, and 6 large cars can be parked side by side. The hall is three rooms wide, with seven columns deep, a bucket-type wooden frame, a double slope roof, and the doors, windows, and partitions are made of nan wood, and the two sides are built with a shawl. The east side of the main seat is the flower hall, which covers a small area, but the patio, hall, box room, pavilion, garden, etc. are readily available, and the "bonsai-style" private garden, fish pond, rockery, snow cave, balcony are also many.

According to reports, Yan Fu returned to Rong in his later years, once lived in the Flower Hall, and later moved to the courtyard of Langguan Lane.

When Ms. Gu Yanqiuyun returned to Rong to visit the former residence of her grandfather Yan Fu in Langguan Lane, she recalled childhood memories, and she also lived in the Wang QiHua Hall when she was a child.
