On October 18, the All-China Women's Federation and the China Women's Development Foundation joined hands with Li Ning Sporting Goods Co., Ltd. to donate materials to our district. Zhang Qun, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, relevant responsible persons of the Municipal and District Women's Federations and relevant responsible persons of the District Emergency Response Bureau attended the meeting.
The recent continuous heavy rainfall has affected many places in our region to varying degrees. With difficulties on one side, support from eight parties, the catastrophe shows great love, the disaster affects the hearts of the women's federations at all levels, under the care of the All-China Women's Federation, the China Women's Development Foundation and the love enterprise donated down jackets worth 250,000 yuan to our district to help the disaster relief work in our region with practical actions. It is understood that the donated materials will be distributed to the disaster-stricken resettlement sites in various townships and towns in our region according to the disaster situation, bringing a different kind of warmth to the disaster-stricken people in the increasingly cold late autumn.
Zhang Qun expressed his gratitude to the All-China Women's Federation, the China Women's Development Foundation and caring enterprises for their donations. He stressed that the relevant departments must manage and use this loving material well, and do a good job in mass resettlement with heart, affection and strength, so that every love can convey more warmth and more strength.
