In the end, the police successfully arrested Li Mouming, who had been renamed "Han Fei" and "Li Yunxuan" successively, in Qianxian County, Xianyang. After interrogation, Li Mouming confessed that after the incident that year, he pickpocketed the train all the way south, worked in the southern provinces to earn a living, lived in seclusion in Xi'an around 2000, did not dare to return to his hometown of Tongchuan for many years, did not marry and have children, and has been living a life of hiding in Tibet.
At present, the criminal suspect Li Mouming has been approved for arrest by the procuratorial organs, and the case is under further investigation.
