On September 15th, Zhu Hua, counselor of the autonomous regional government, and his party came to our school to carry out special research on the construction of first-class disciplines in Guangxi, and held a discussion and exchange in the 515 conference room of the office building of Huajiang Campus. Vice President Zhang Wentao, Development Planning Office and relevant responsible persons of guangxi's first-class disciplines attended the meeting.
Zhang Wentao introduced the characteristics of electronic information, disciplinary advantages and contributions to the economic development of Guangxi. He pointed out that the contribution of the school to the economic development of Guangxi is inseparable from the support of the autonomous regional government to the school, and the continuous investment of Guangxi's first-class discipline construction funds has provided a funding guarantee for the construction of the discipline platform, the introduction of high-end talents, the construction of scientific research teams, and the development of scientific research. Relying on platforms such as Huajiang Huigu, Nanning Industry-Education Integration Base, and Shenzhen Research Institute, the school cooperates with enterprises to cultivate talents and carry out scientific research, which significantly improves the economic benefits of enterprises and promotes the development of Guangxi's economy and electronic information industry.
Subsequently, the relevant person in charge of the Development Planning Department reported on the progress of promoting the construction of first-class disciplines in our university, especially the achievements of the first-class disciplines in Guangxi in terms of teaching staff, talent training, scientific research, social services, international cooperation and exchanges during the four-year construction period; the analysis of the problems, difficulties and reasons in the construction and development of first-class disciplines in Guangxi; the successful experience and innovative practices of the construction of first-class disciplines in other provinces; and the countermeasures and suggestions for accelerating the construction and development of first-class disciplines in the autonomous region. The relevant responsible persons of Guangxi's first-class disciplines put forward opinions and suggestions on accelerating the construction and development of first-class disciplines in the autonomous region.
Zhu Hua fully affirmed the achievements of the construction of first-class disciplines in our school, especially the contribution of serving the localities, and pointed out the direction for the future construction of first-class disciplines in our school, saying that the construction of first-class disciplines should serve the economic development of Guangxi more, solve technical problems for enterprises, and cultivate outstanding talents.
Before the symposium, Zhu Hua and his entourage went to Guilin Haiwei Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and the National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Satellite Navigation, Positioning and Positioning Services for field investigation.
