Hatch began work after customs officials became suspicious of two large metal containers used to transport liquids. Officials said a total of 1.5 tons of methamphetamine, worth $2.26 billion, were found inside the container.
The shipment arrived in Slovakia via a port in Croatia, where customs officials believe the drugs will be sold throughout Europe. This methamphetamine is believed to have been made in Mexico.
The case is being investigated by the Slovak State Penal Agency.
