Jiang Jue belongs to the double-shell shell, its shell is large and thin, the anterior tip is wide and the back is wide, and it is wedge-shaped. The surface has radial ribs with small spines of a triangle slightly diagonally posterior. The color is light brown to black brown, and slightly transparent when young. The feet are hairy and very developed. It lives with the tip of the shell inserted upright into the sediment, and fixes the seabed with its filaments, and when gathered together, it seems to be a stone forest on the seabed. Once settled, they never move again for life. Jiang Jue to some single-celled algae and organic detritus as the main food, its posterior closed shell muscle is very developed, accounting for about 1/3 of the body length, large and round, tender and delicious meat, rich in nutrition, its dried products are Jiang Juezhu. Jiang jue is mainly distributed in tropical and subtropical coasts, and China has the largest production in the coastal areas of Guangdong and Fujian.

Step into the reef area
