What is it like to wake up naturally every day, push open the window accompanied by the gentle sound of birds, and the lush greenery, colorful, bright and beautiful flowers of the courtyard will first come into view? Presumably, this is the "far away" that everyone yearns for in the bustling city. And Aunt Luo in Nan umbrella village, Kang County, Lincang Town, lives such a life every day.
"It's that I get up every day and feel very good." Looking at the spring in the courtyard, Aunt Luo's face was full of happiness.
Aunt Luo, whose original name was Li Huanzi, is 70 years old this year, because she is married to Uncle Luo, so everyone affectionately calls Aunt Luo. Aunt Luo originally lived in Fengwei Town, Zhenkang County, and since Uncle Luo's death, Aunt Luo has come to live with her eldest daughter and younger son in 2017. Perhaps because she liked flowers and plants since childhood, or because of her innate pastoral complex, after several years of building, Aunt Luo finally "tossed" the courtyard into what she wanted. Beautiful greenery, colorful flowers, crystal clear ponds, fresh water lilies... It's really pleasing to the eye and refreshing. Aunt Luo said that this was the peak season for flowers in the yard, and it was in full bloom, attracting a particularly beautiful bird.
It is understood that the bird in the mouth of Aunt Luo is called the yellow-waisted sunbird (scientific name: Aethopyga siparaja), with a total of 16 subspecies, small birds, and a body length of 10-15 cm. The beak is slender and curved downwards, and the male has a metallic green forehead and the front of the crown, and an olive brown at the back of the head. The rest of the head , neck , back , shoulders , chin , throat , thorax , and mid-wing coverts and small coverts are red , with a yellow waist , zygomatic stripes and tails purplish-green. The central pair of tail feathers is specially elongated, and the belly to the undertail coverts are gray-green and yellow. The female has a grey olive green upperpart, olive yellow upper covered feathers at the waist and tail, and an olive yellow underparts. It mainly inhabits secondary forests, bamboo forests and evergreen broad-leaved forests in open areas such as low mountains and foothill plains below 1500 meters above sea level, and can reach evergreen broad-leaved forests at an altitude of up to 1800 meters in summer, and also appears in small forests in open areas such as orchards, courtyards, farmland and village edges in winter. They often move alone or in pairs, sometimes in small groups. It feeds mainly on insects and nectar, but also on plant fruits and seeds. It is found in China and Southeast Asia. It is the national bird of Singapore.
"I just like to plant some flowers and grasses, for a long time, birds, butterflies... They all flew in by themselves, and they felt that the family was more angry, which was very good. Looking at the birds frolicking among the flowers, Aunt Luo said happily.
The forecourt and backyard are full of flowers and trees, birds and flowers, which is a kind of happiness visible to the naked eye, and it is also a true portrayal of the harmonious coexistence of nature and humanity.
