The Mongolian lark is a small songbird. The total length is approximately 18cm. The upper body is yellowish brown with brownish-yellow feathers, chestnut around the top of the head, light brown in the center, white underparts, a broad transverse band of inconsistency on the thorax, chestnut stripes on the two ribs, yellow skin on the cheeks, and two long and prominent white eyebrow stripes on the occipital part
