At the beginning of the competition, before reaching the scenic gate, there were all kinds of pleasant birdsong on the side of the road. Birdwatchers quickly got out of the car and looked out, and soon found the South China crowned willow warbler and the chestnut-headed warbler. "In Fengyang Mountain, these are the two most abundant birds." Li Xuan, executive director of the Yeosu Wildlife Conservation Association, who was invited to participate in the competition, introduced it.
After entering the scenic spot, 6 teams began to disperse their activities, some to the source of the Oujiang River, and some to climb the main peak Huangmaojian.
Birdwatcher Chen Guanghui is from Wenzhou, and he formed a team with Qian Cheng and Zhou Jinfeng to participate in the bird watching competition for the first time, and rushed straight to Huang Maojian, the highest peak of Fengyang Mountain.
Along the way, accompanied by the incessant shouting of yellow-cheeked, South China crowned willow warblers, and chestnut-headed warblers, the three of them came to the mountain forest and overlooked a gray willow warbler jumping around in the branches, It should be a brown-bellied willow warbler. Qian Cheng raised the shutter, and the Wenzhou squad added the first new species.

Climbing to the top, in the distance, the cries of the middle cuckoo are melodious and pleasant; in the near distance, a few brown-bellied willow warblers sing and puff their wings, three or two brown-headed crows are holding branches and leaves to prepare for the nest, and the brown short-winged warblers that are rare in other places are sneaky drills... One, two, Wenzhou squad recorded one by one.
During the record, the sky darkened unconsciously, and the Wenzhou squad returned to the camp. On the way down the mountain, the gray-crowned warbler, the black-chined phoenix, the red-horned owl, and the collared ibises captured all the way and harvested them full.
The next day, Chen Guanghui, who was still unfinished, got up at four o'clock in the morning and went up the mountain alone in the dark to continue his bird watching journey. Along the way, he recorded the yellow-bellied horned pheasant, harvested the Star Wren, met the big family of white wagtails resting in the trees, and saw the black-chinned phoenix and ibises doing shameful things in the shadows...
As the sun rose, Chen Guanghui also joined his teammates to fight in Oujiangyuan, and photographed the white-eyed owl warbler and the little fairy bird.
