It is located in Dong'an County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, bordering Jeonju County in Guangxi Province, and is a mountain close to two provinces. It has an area of about 15,000 hectares, and the main peak is as high as 1882.4 meters above sea level, making it the first peak in Shonan. It is more than 300 meters higher than Mount Tai, the head of the Five Mountains, so it is also known as the "First Peak of Tianshi Hunan"!
The name of Shunhuang Mountain is easily reminiscent of Emperor Shun in the ancient period, and indeed, its name comes from Emperor Shun, who served the world with "virtue" in ancient times.
At first, this mountain was called Hongyun Mountain, and Emperor Shun came here on a southern tour, saw the peak of the mountain, and the ancient wood sensen, thinking that he had come to the wonderland. He stopped at this mountain, inspected the people's feelings, and gave 10 treasures around him to the local area, may the people here always live a life of abundant food and clothing, peace and happiness. In order to commemorate the merits of Emperor Shun, the locals renamed this mountain Shunhuang Mountain, which is also the only mountain in China named after the emperor.
This ancient famous mountain has an ancient history and fabulous allusions, and the natural scenery is also very original. Here is known as the "ecological kingdom", this is not an exaggeration, there is a mysterious fairyland butterfly valley, in the woods here, flying a variety of colorful butterflies, a total of 11 families and 155 genera 355 species, accounting for 27% of our country's butterfly species, almost one-third of our country's butterfly species in this valley!

In addition to the Butterfly Valley of Ehuangxi Scenic Area, the natural beauty of Nüyingxi Waterfall here is also worth lingering, as well as Shunhuangyan Scenic Area, Yangjiang Rafting, etc., which are the key contents of scenic tours.
Located in a remote corner of Shonan Province, the scenery is beautiful and the outside world does not know much. Coming to the local area, in addition to sightseeing, the food here is also worth recommending, the most famous of which is Dong'an chicken and blood duck, but the food is worth a try. It is said that the 10 treasures given by Emperor Shun have become unique treasures in the local area, including the golden rooster and the white duck.
