During a massive power outage, Inspector Roy Nerey (Richard Dreyfuss) of indiana power companies discovers UFOs and is enveloped in a mysterious light mass, and Roy's obsession with UFOs alarms his wife. With no bulging alien monsters, no anatomical experiments on flying saucers, no laser wars between humans and aliens, Contact of the Third Kind depicts a peaceful, well-intentioned conversation with aliens, using music sent by mathematical signals, the language of the two universes.
The glowing alien spacecraft that appeared in this section was already quite complex and advanced for the era in which the film was filmed.
Shocking cinematic special effects, mysterious atmosphere, and visual effects that only existed in people's imagination in the past made the film one of the most classic and thrilling sci-fi films in film history.
