Hu Chunhua, deputy secretary of the Lu'an Municipal Party Committee, Shu Xuelong, vice mayor, Xue Bai, deputy general manager of Anhui Forklift Group Co., Ltd. and vice chairman of Anhui Heli Co., Ltd., attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
It is understood that the Forklift Group's Hefei Casting and Forging Factory is a benchmarking enterprise in China's foundry industry and a demonstration enterprise in China's green casting, the vice president unit of the China Casting Association, the president unit of the Anhui Casting Association, a number of casting processes represent the high level of China's casting, providing high-quality castings for global construction machinery, industrial vehicles, automobiles, rail transit, high-end agricultural machinery, etc., and selling 280,000 tons of various castings in 2020, and the enterprise shows a good momentum of development. In order to better meet the needs of the high-end market at home and abroad, forklift group decided to build a high-end casting and deep processing R&D and manufacturing base of Heli (Lu'an).
At the site of the groundbreaking ceremony, Xue Bai pointed out in his speech that the main economic and technical indicators of forklift group since 1991 have maintained the leading position in China's forklift industry for 30 consecutive years, and the company has always practiced the core values of "people-oriented, returning to society with fine products", implementing the new development concept, and after several generations of hard work, it has now developed into an industrial vehicle research and development, manufacturing and export base with large scale, complete industrial chain, comprehensive strength and good economic benefits, and has made significant contributions to the development of Anhui equipment manufacturing industry.
As an important part of the Heli supply chain and industrial chain system, Heli (Lu'an) high-end casting and deep processing R&D and manufacturing base are high hopes, and the project is not only a specific measure to supplement the chain and strengthen the chain, but also a specific practice to implement the high-quality development goals proposed by the central government and support the development of the old area. Xue Bai stressed that the construction of the base project should adhere to high standards, strict requirements, fast pace, as soon as possible to achieve project landing and production, to provide casting capacity guarantee for the realization of the goals of the "14th Five-Year Plan", to further promote the construction of the six cities, to accelerate the integration into the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, and to contribute to the construction of "three places and one district" in our province, especially the construction of the source of scientific and technological innovation and the gathering place of emerging industries.
Shu Xuelong, vice mayor of Lu'an City, said in his speech that the successful landing of the high-end casting and deep processing R&D and manufacturing base project is of landmark significance in the development history of Lu'an City and Jin'an District, which is of great significance to accelerating the development of advanced equipment manufacturing industry, and will surely inject strong impetus into the high-quality economic and social development of Lu'an and Jin'an Districts. It is reported that the high-end casting and deep processing R & D and manufacturing base project laid by the foundation is large in scale and high in level. The project covers an area of 379.72 acres, with a total construction area of about 145,000 square meters, a total investment of more than 1 billion yuan, and is expected to produce more than 200,000 tons of castings per year after completion, achieve annual sales revenue of more than 1 billion yuan, and total profits of more than 120 million yuan. The project is planned to be built in three phases. Through a series of internationally advanced casting technology and equipment, and the concept of "intelligence, digital, green" into the entire production and management links, the project strives to build a leading domestic and internationally advanced green high-end casting industry benchmarking enterprise in the "14th Five-Year Plan", which can not only play a leading role in local economic development, but also further accelerate the development of the foundry industry in Anhui and even the whole country, and enhance the driving force and radiation of the regional economy.
