It is expected that from Monday to Wednesday, controlled by the cold high ridge, Guangzhou is mainly cloudy and sunny; from Thursday to Friday, due to the influence of weak cold air, the cloud cover has increased; on weekends, there are weak cold air supplements, cloudy and cloudy days, occasionally sporadic light rain, and the temperature drops slightly. At present, the yellow warning signal of forest fire danger in 11 districts of the city is taking effect.
As of 08:00 on the 21st, the water storage capacity of 16 large and medium-sized reservoirs in Guangzhou was 420 million cubic meters, 6.2% less than the same period last year and 9.6% less than the same period in many years. From October 1 to 25, the average flow rate of Qilin Tsui Station in the main stream of Zengjiang River was 32.8 cubic meters per second, which was 50.8% less than the same period in history, and the average monthly water guarantee rate of Zengjiang was 80.6%, which did not reach the drought reference index.
From January 1 to October 24, 2021, the average rainfall of representative stations in guangzhou was 1345.8 mm, which was 25.2% less than the same period in the past decade (1799.1 mm).
