Luiz Muriqui (born 16 June 1986 in the brazilian state of Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a striker. Luiz Guilherme da Conceição Silva, born in Muric District, Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, joined Guangzhou Evergrande in June 2010 for $3.5 million, playing for four years and winning the Chinese Super League Top Scorer, AFC Champions League Top Scorer, AFC Champions League Most Valuable Player and other awards, and on November 1, 2013, he won the AFC Best Foreign Aid Award. On 13 July 2014, Muric moved from Guangzhou Evergrande to Qatar Al Sad F.C. for US$8 million.

On 1 April 2016, Tokyo FC announced on its official website that Muric had joined from Al Sad on loan from 25 March to 14 December 2016.

On January 6, 2017, Bajia side Vasco da Gama officially announced that Muric had officially joined.

On July 2, 2017, according to the Japanese media "sponichi", former Evergrande striker Muric joined Japanese J-League team Tosu Sandstone.

On the morning of July 12, 2017 (the evening of July 11, Brazilian time), Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club officially announced the official signing of the team's legendary muriqui (full name Luiz guilherme da conceicao silva), Muric officially returned as a free agent, the contract lasted for six months, and the club had the right of first refusal to renew the contract after the contract expired. Early life

Murić, whose real name is Guillermo, was born in the small town of Murić, about 100 km west of Rio de Janeiro

, from which his nickname came. Because his hometown is relatively close to The city of Rio, Muric went to the football training center in Rio and slowly embarked on the road of playing football. At the age of 14, Muric's parents divorced and his mother remarried.

Athletic career

Muric debuted in the Brazilian D-league team Madurela, is regarded as the future star, has been selected for the Brazilian national youth team three times, has not been selected for the national team and has not played in Europe, was rated as Brazil's star of hope by the Brazilian Football Association, and has since been loaned to many big clubs such as Brazil's Vasco vasco vasco.

In 2008, Muric moved to Sportbras and was later loaned to other teams by Sport brasil.

In 2009, Muric was loaned to Baliga side Awai and became a highlight of the team. He made 31 appearances, scored nine goals and contributed 12 assists (second in the league) and suffered a total of 139 violations from opponents during the season, a number 22 times higher than the second-placed player. Muric's brilliant performances attracted the attention of other Baliga teams.

On 13 January 2010, Muric joined Atlético Mineiro on loan to pair up with the team's core striker Diego Tardelli. He quickly integrated into the team and scored five goals in eight league games in 2010, helping Atlético Mineiro to win the 2010 Minas State Championship. On June 30, Chinese League A side Guangzhou Evergrande announced a four-year signing with Muric for a club record $3.5 million, making his debut in the Chinese League A and scoring four goals in the match, helping Guangzhou Evergrande beat Nanjing Youyou 10-0 at home. Muric made 14 appearances in the second half of the 2010 Season, scoring 13 goals, and Guangzhou was promoted to the Chinese Super League with a league title.

On 17 April 2011, Muric scored two goals for Guangzhou in the third round of the 2011 Chinese Super League in a 2–2 home draw with Beijing Guoan, the first player in Guangzhou's history to score a hat-trick in the FA Cup, after which he scored a hat-trick in the FA Cup on 4 May and 12 May respectively in a 3–2 home win over Guizhou Zhicheng and a 1–1 draw away to Shaanxi Zhongjian in the 2011 CSL On August 16, 2011, the Chinese Football Association, based on the referee's report and video, believed that Muric had committed violence against Liaoning Hongyun player Zhao Junzhe during the clash, and announced that Muric would be banned for five games (including reserve team matches) and fined 25,000 yuan. Muric expressed dissatisfaction with the Chinese Football Association's decision. Thanks to the efforts of Evergrande Club, Muric eventually retracted his idea of leaving the team. Although Muric was suspended for four rounds in the 2011 Chinese Super League, he was awarded the title of top scorer in the Chinese Super League with six goals in three games in the 27th, 28th and 29th rounds, eventually surpassing other competitors and winning the title of top scorer in the Chinese Super League with 16 goals. Muric also became the third guangzhou player to win the top professional league top scorer after Hu Zhijun and Luis Ramirez, and the second player after Li Jinyu to win the top league and the FA Cup top scorer in one season.

On 26 February 2013, Muric scored a pass and a shot in the first official match of the 2013 season, helping Guangzhou Evergrande beat J-League side Urawa Red Diamonds 3–0 to open the 2013 Asian Champions League. And through this goal, he surpassed Luis Ramirez to become the player who scored the most goals in official matches in the history of guangzhou. On 22 May, he scored his eighth goal in the tournament in the second leg of the AFC Champions League quarter-final against the Central Coast Mariners, his 11th goal in the AFC Champions League, becoming the player who scored the most goals in the AFC Champions League for Chinese teams. On October 2, in the second leg of the AFC Champions League semi-finals, Guangzhou Evergrande swept J-League side Bai Helios 4-0 at home, and Muric scored two yuan, thus surpassing Brazilian compatriot Ricardo Oliveira, who had scored 12 goals in a single season in the AFC Champions League, to become the player with the most goals in a single season in the history of the AFC Champions League. On November 9, Guangzhou Evergrande won the AFC Champions League at home, and Muric alone won the two major awards of the tournament's best player and best scorer.

In 2014, Muric said in an interview with the media that he proposed a transfer to Evergrande, and played for Evergrande for more than half a year at most. On July 13, Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club officially announced that Brazilian foreign player Muric officially transferred to Al Sad Football Club in the Qatar League, and after joining Al Sad for a transfer fee of $8 million, Muric scored 10 goals in 18 appearances in his first season.

On 12 December 2015, during the last round of the Qatar League, Muric scored a goal for Al Sad, ending Alrayan's crazy 11-game winning streak, scoring nine goals in 11 appearances that season.

In March 2016, Qatari giants Al Sadh registered Algerian foreign aid Boneja for the Qatar domestic league and AFC Champions League, replacing the original foreign aid Muric; on April 1, Japanese team FC Tokyo announced the signing of former Evergrande star Muric on loan, and the two sides signed a work contract from March 25 to December 14, 2016.

After scoring four goals in a season at Tokyo FC, Muric turned down their contract extension.

In January 2017, Muric returned to Brazil to join the promotion of Mavasco da Gama. Muric made only 10 official appearances that season, including two starts, and has failed to play in the last three games.
