Chu Cai's masterpiece | the freedom of the pigeons

The freedom of the pigeons

Yin Yuchen Luxiang Experimental Primary School Class IV (6).

Every time I go to Zhongshan Park, I love to go to Pigeon Square.

It was a classroom-sized square full of pigeons. They were as white as jade, their ruby-like eyes shining, flapping their wings from time to time, flying to the branches of the square to rest for a while, and then flying back to the ground gracefully, perhaps showing their graceful posture!

There are many people in the square feeding the pigeons or taking pictures with them. The pigeons, on the other hand, are not afraid of people at all, and walk around in front of people and at their feet. I bought a bag of pigeon food with some dried corn in it. I squatted down carefully, put the dried corn in the palm of my hand, and waited for the pigeons to arrive. They were clever, and immediately understood my kindness, gently pecked at the dried corn in their hands, ate it, and left gracefully.

I suddenly became envious of their lives. They're so free! Eat when you want, fly when you want, really free...

After pecking at the food in my hand, the pigeons ran elsewhere. Some paced to the feet of the children on the opposite side to eat beans, and some walked to the old man behind them to eat millet, until the belly rolled round, and then reluctantly left.

I envy them even more. They want what they want, and no one will ever reject them...

Suddenly, I noticed that in the flower bed not far away, there were several white figures flashing by, pigeons. On the wet grass, they are slowly walking along in small steps, and from time to time they are pecking at something with their mouths, whether it is a small insect, or a seed, or a cookie crumb dropped by a passerby.

Suddenly, a man with a long bamboo pole crossed the flower bed and walked to them. yes! Isn't that the owner of pigeon food? I saw him raise his bamboo pole and wield his ferocious weapon at the pigeons while emitting "Shhh... Shhh..." until the pigeons were driven back into the hard, cold, dense square.

The sky was filled with clouds, obscuring the slightly brilliant sunlight.

I began to pity the pigeons, although they lived comfortably, but is it really good to live such a life? Contrast that with the sparrows bouncing in the distance, the freedom of the pigeons, only in a square. The freedom of the sparrow, but in the whole world...

Comments

At first, the young author vividly described the freedom and comfort of the pigeons, so that the children who suffered from learning every day were full of infinite yearning for the freedom of the pigeons! However, as soon as the little author's pen turns, a cold and ruthless pigeon seller appears in front of the reader's eyes, he controls the pigeons that "covet" food for his own selfish desires, and the little author has a new understanding and understanding of life and freedom. At the end of the article, the contrast between the pigeon and the sparrow is meaningful. (Instructor: Zhang Rong)
