There are countless cruises on the Rhine, and people of different nationalities and different skin colors flock to see the beautiful scenery and rich humanistic atmosphere of the Rhine. As we cruise past other cruise ships, hospitable foreign friends often wave to our yellow-skinned Chinese. We also responded warmly. On our cruise ship, in addition to the travel group, there are also tourists from all over the world, people are traveling in all directions, competing to photograph the wonderful scenery on both sides of the strait. There are several tourists from Russia on board who have developed a keen interest in German culture. They ran from the bow to the stern, taking pictures, recording, and communicating in Russian. Their actions aroused the curiosity of their companions. Despite the language barriers between us and them, there are no borders to emotional communication, and we communicate with them through gestures, smiles, eyes, and compete to take photos with them on the Rhine. They were also very willing to socialize with us, and the smiles left in the digital camera were sweet. I also took a picture with some of the Russian tourists on the same boat, sitting at the bow of the boat, hugging me between them, smiling with a glass full of German beer in their hands, and saying, "China? But there are people in the world who are willing to artificially create hatred, wage war, and even carry out terrorist attacks. How long will this historical evil last?
The boat reached a turning point, and Mr. Qi told us: "Remember the song of lorelais by the great German poet Heine? The hill opposite was where the Llorele Banshee was. I suddenly thought of the fairy in Heine's pen mentioned by Mr. Zhu Ziqing in his essay "The Rhine", so I got up from my seat and looked out the window. Heine's "Song of Lorelei" made me look up to the place for a long time like many tourists. Heine wrote this story with deep affection, and it also deeply infected me:
