In order to guide the concept of nurturing the whole society and promote the implementation of the Healthy China Strategy, led by the Sichuan Provincial Women's Federation and the Sichuan Provincial Bureau of Economic Cooperation, the Sichuan Provincial Women's And Children's Fund has selected 7 cities and prefectures in the province to organize the implementation of the "1000 Days of Early Life Nutrition SupplementAtion Plan" project. Bayer Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Co., Ltd. and Kunming Dianhong Pharmaceutical Sales Co., Ltd. provided donated materials - calcium tablets. Ziyang City became the first batch of project implementation cities, receiving a total of 7500 bottles of calcium, and planned to give 2500 women who are preparing for pregnancy, pregnancy and lactation difficulties with calcium tablets worth nearly 900,000 yuan to provide nutritional supplements during pregnancy and childbirth.
On October 26th, sponsored by the Ziyang Women's Federation, undertaken by the Anyue County Women's Federation, and co-organized by the Anyue County Health And Health Bureau and the Party Committee and Government of Anyue County Zhenzi Town, the donation material distribution activity of the "Early 1000 Days of Life Nutrition SupplementAtion Plan" was held in Zhenzi Town, Anyue County, marking the official launch of the "Early 1000 Days of Life Nutrition Supplement Plan" public welfare project in an city. Li Zurong, member of the party group and vice chairman of the Municipal Women's Federation, attended the launching ceremony of the centralized distribution and delivered a speech, and Xie Yang, secretary of the party group and chairman of the Anyue County Women's Federation, presided over the launching ceremony. More than 70 women represented the beneficiaries of the project.
At the event site, the "Health Care Kit" donated by the project was distributed to the local beneficiary female representatives. Each "Health Care Pack" contains 3 bottles of Tiancan Citric Acid Calcium Malate Tablets, 1 Pregnancy Knowledge Brochure and 1 Warm Reminder Card, which helps beneficiary women to supplement calcium and obtain health knowledge during pregnancy more conveniently.
In her speech, Li Zurong pointed out that maternal and child health is the foundation of national health and an important part of the Healthy China Action, and "Pay attention to the nutrition of early childhood 1000 days" has been included in the "China Child Development Program (2021-2030)".
First, it is hoped that women and sisters, especially women who are trying to conceive, and pregnant women should enhance their awareness of nutritional supplementation in the early life, enhance their sense of trust in donated products, scientifically supplement trace elements such as folic acid, calcium, and iron, prevent birth defects, and do a good job of primary prevention for healthy, intelligent and cute babies.
Second, we hope that the vast number of families will do a good job in family building around the revitalization of rural areas. It is necessary to further strengthen the work of family style tutoring, promote economic development with family style tutoring, and provide good family conditions for the healthy and happy growth of children.
The third is to hope that the Anyue County Women's Federation will be conscientiously responsible for the implementation of the project. It is necessary to strictly follow the requirements of the project, widely publicize and launch, carefully select the recipients of donations, distribute donated materials in various forms, do a good job in the registration of donations, and ensure that there are no phenomena such as preferential relatives and friends and unfair distribution. At the same time, it is necessary to integrate and carry out distinctive and diverse forms of women's and children's health knowledge dissemination activities to ensure that the implementation of the project is high-quality and efficient.
