
Introduction to the establishment of the organization
Founded in 1922, IBM (International Federation of Magicians) is the world's largest and most prestigious international organization of professional and amateur magicians, magic enthusiasts, and collectors of magic props. It is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. It includes almost all professional magicians, magic amateurs, enthusiasts and magic item collectors around the world. There are more than 300 branches around the world, there are currently 73 member states, members are distributed in major cities in the world, each institution is not called "chapter", but called "Ring", which means that each branch is as tightly linked as each magic ring.
IBM is a huge organization, the world's major city branches and magic enthusiasts use letters, Web forums and other contacts, communication, regular organization of gatherings. Local magicians and visitors practice and discuss the latest artistic topics together. There are also touring magicians and members of magicians giving lectures and demonstrations.
The annual International Magic Annual Meeting has become the most desirable place for every magician and enthusiast. At the end of the 1980s, IBM trained magicians all over the world.
Ibm organization is as close as brothers, and magic secrets can be made public. However, there is also a strict discipline of confidentiality externally. There is a clause in the membership application form: no free leaks can be made.
Introduction to the membership system
The primary member who has been engaged in magic activities for more than 2 years is 18 years of age or older.
Low-level members who are at least 12 years old and less than 18 years old and have previously engaged in magic activities for more than one year are low-level members.
The spouse or assistant of a primary member who is at least 18 years of age is a subordinate member.
China joined IBM on July 14, 1995 with the approval of the Chinese Ministry of Culture, and was designated as The 311st Chapter.
In IBM's competitions, the most famous are "GoldMedal" and "Gold Cups", which are trophies on top of the championship and are not awarded every year. The Gold Medal is the highest honor on stage and the Gold Cup is the highest honor for close-ups. This kind of award is basically given to "God", that is, it is so strong that people and gods are indignant.
