The season has passed the frost and the solar terms are the last of autumn. As the temperature drops day by day, the atmosphere of autumn becomes thicker and stronger, and the most prominent feature of autumn is that the autumn leaves of the mountains dye the hills red.
Last Sunday, the weather was clear, and I went to Siming Mountain to explore the occurrence of autumn leaves. Autumn leaves in low mountains are still very rare, but there are already many autumn leaves in the mountains, such as artificially planted cherry blossom seedlings.
I met many tree species with red leaves in the Qinghuwan Gang and Xiujianshan areas, the highest areas in Ningbo. Some are too far away to confirm what tree species they are. Only the red leaf trees growing on the side of the road can be recorded one by one for everyone to share.
The white wood eucalyptus in the family Euphorbiaceae is the star tree species among the autumn colored leaf trees. Near simingshan forest park, when I first saw the white wood ebony, I initially thought it was the autumn leaves of wild persimmons, but when I approached it, I recognized that it was a white wood ebony that only grew at high altitudes. The leaves of this tree are very red and transparent, which can catch people's eyes. The same genus of plants, the black oak, is also a very outstanding representative of the red leaf tree species, but most of the black oak is not yet red.
At this time, the trees are full of red trees and the wild sumac tree with pinnate compound leaves, which is a blood-colored red leaf, which is difficult to distinguish from the same color of yellow lianlian from a distance, they are all tree species of the sumac family. The salt-skinned wood and the yellow oak of the sumac family are also very outstanding red leaf tree species, so the sumac species occupy a very important position in autumn leaves.
The flesh-flowered spear is a tree species of the family Velaminidae, which usually only grows on cliff faces, and at this time it is also a tree full of red leaves.
Blue fruit trees are rare tree species, and the leaves gradually turn red when autumn arrives.
The sassafras trees on the high mountains are beginning to turn red, while most of the sassafras trees under the mountains have fallen leaves.
The three-flowered hanging hook on the side of the road, the leaves are triforated, and the red color is also very bright.
The best time to see red maple is usually in the spring when the young leaves have just grown, but some plants are also red and translucent at this time. I found that under the forest on the shady slope there was a cluster of red trees full of flowers. It may have mistook the cool temperature conditions of autumn for spring, so it desperately spit out its hair.
There are really not many plants that bloom this season, except for wild chrysanthemums, the most attractive thing is the yellow flowers with a large amount of flowers, in places where the sun is very good, the flowers of the thousand miles of light are golden and bright. Under the trees, there are many butterflies that bloom white in a low profile.
Spring flowers and autumn fruits, this season should be a good time to watch the fruit, but I have seen not many tree species with good fruit.
The hairy evergreen pods of the genus Pods are a representative tree species.
The red berries of the umbelliferous heather of the Rosaceae family are particularly attractive, and the pink fruit of the Southwest Guard Spear is also a rare good tree species.
The red calyxes of the verbena family Haizhou Changshan resemble red flowers.
Hua Zi Zhu is also a species of verbena family, although the fruit is relatively small, but the color of the purple Yingying is unforgettable.
The "red fruit" of the southern yew is an edible "fruit". As a gymnosperm, in fact, the southern yew only has seeds, no peel and pulp, edible red fleshy part, is its false seed coat, and its meaning of existence is actually the function of the peel.
In the mountains, I had the privilege of meeting some grey butterflies that collect honey on the flowers, and the male butterfly of this small butterfly has a very bright sapphire blue flash on the front, which looks like a condensed version of the Brazilian blue butterfly, which makes people fall in love with it.
