According to Taiwan's "Zhongshi News Network" reported on 22 April, the Japanese government recently announced that it would dilute the Fukushima nuclear wastewater and discharge it into the sea two years later, causing an international uproar, while Taiwan's so-called "representative in Japan" Xie Changting frequently posted articles on social media for the Japanese side to unwind, and was shelled by the outside world as a "representative of helping Japan." In this regard, Xie Xiaoxing, chairman of Taiwan's "Original Energy Association," pointed out when questioned on the 21st that Xie Changting himself is not a nuclear energy expert, and "there are many things that are not his profession."

According to reports, Hsieh Chang-ting posted on social media on April 9 and 13 that he was shelled for protecting Japan, and even faked information and used Taiwan's nuclear power plant to cause a secret carving fish (deformed fish) to "pad back" for the Fukushima nuclear power plant, and the KUOMINTang criticized it as both hateful and shameless.

In this regard, when Xie Xiaoxing was questioned on the 21st, he pointed out that Xie Changting's statement was from the position of foreign affairs, and he had no room for beak in this part, and Xie Changting himself was not a nuclear energy expert, many things were not his profession, it may be that many power plants have emissions, so he said this.

Wan Meiling, a Kuomintang national, bitterly criticized that the nuclear wastewater that touched the heart of the furnace after the Japanese nuclear disaster is completely different from the cooling water discharged from Taiwan. This is a serious harm to Taiwan's image; in this regard, Taiwan's "Original Energy Association" also stressed that the wastewater from Taiwan's nuclear power plant is normal discharge, which is "completely different" from the situation in Fukushima, and Xie Changting is not a nuclear energy expert to say such things.
