Sport reporter Shams Charania reported that Austin Walton, agent of free agent guard Kent Bazimore, revealed that Bazemore has reached a one-year deal with the Lakers.
According to the sources, Bazemore turned down a longer(two-year), higher-value contract for the Warriors, opting to join the Lakers, believing that he could have a more important team role and a chance to win the championship at the Lakers.
Bazemore played for the Warriors last season, averaging 7.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists and one steal per game in 19.9 minutes.
Bazemore briefly played for the Lakers in the 2013-14 season.
