Huilong Expressway started construction! It is expected to run through the north and south of Huizhou in one hour

On December 30, the control project of six pilot sections of the Huilong section of the Shaohui Expressway (hereinafter referred to as the "Huilong Expressway") started synchronously, marking the start of construction of the Huilong Expressway project.

It is understood that the Huilong Expressway project has been included in the "13th Five-Year Plan" key planning and construction projects of Guangdong Province, and it is also a key construction project of the province and Huizhou City in 2019. It starts from Pingling Subdistrict Office in Longmen County, Huizhou City (connecting to Wushen Expressway), passes south through Boluo Gongzhuang, Yangcun, Yangqiao, Baitang, Taimei and Luoyang, and ends in Ruhu Town, Huicheng District, connecting with Huida Expressway and intersecting with Wushen, Guanghe, Huihe, Guanghui and Huida Expressways. The total length of the route is almost 62 km, with 6 lanes in both directions. According to the plan, it is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by the end of 2022.

The first control projects started this time are yangqiao jinlong avenue cross-line bridge, Yangcun Sumaoping interchange, Yangcun Jiashi pass high slope section, Gongzhuang X218 county road cross-line bridge Zhaigang section, Gongzhuang service area, Pingling tunnel.

According to the relevant person in charge of Huizhou Huilong Expressway Company, at present, there are two main passages for citizens to drive from Longmen County to Huizhou City, one is to turn to Guanghui Expressway through Wushen Expressway, the whole line is about 120 kilometers long, and it takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes. The other is the whole journey through jinlong avenue and other national and provincial highways, the whole line is about 110 kilometers long, and it takes about 2 hours.

After the completion and opening of the Huilong Expressway, the public will have one more choice by car from Longmen County to Huicheng District, Huiyang District, Daya Bay Area and Huidong County, and the time it will take Longmen County to Huizhou City will be shortened to 40 minutes, and it will take more than 1 hour to go to Huiyang District, Daya Bay Area and Huidong County, and to Huilong Expressway to Huida Expressway.

At that time, it will be able to run through the north and south of Huizhou in one hour. Huilong Expressway will be connected with Wushen Expressway, Guanghe Expressway, Huihe Expressway, Guanghui Expressway, Huida Expressway to form the northern Huizhou Expressway interconnection, from any one of the interchanges in Huizhou can be directly to Shenzhen, Guangzhou and other places, but also can be easily accessible to Hunan and Jiangxi.
