Latest poster

Recently, the horror film "Horror Story Told in the Dark" directed by Andre Ivdorff, director of "The Corpse of the Unknown Woman" and supervised by Gilmour del Toro, has exposed a new poster. Unlike the previously exposed first poster, which is reminiscent of the blood-red corridor of The Shining, the tone of this poster is unusually bright. In the picture, a housewife dressed in pink is looking in the mirror, and strangely, the red and swollen part of her face has insect tentacles growing.

The novel Horror Stories Told in the Dark was written by Alvin Schwartz and contains many folkloric horror objects and stories, illustrated by Stephen Gammell. The book was first published in 1981, with three volumes, sold more than 7 million copies worldwide, but it was also controversially one of the largest books banned from the library because it really scared children.

As the poster was released, the film's synopsis came to light: a young girl in a small American town in 1968 who wrote her tortured secrets in a book whose terrifying power spanned time and involved a group of modern teenagers.

Guillermo del Toro was originally scheduled to direct himself, but was later taken over by Andrea Ivdorff, starring Zoe Margaret Colletti, Michael Garza, Gabriel Rush, Gil Belos and others, and is currently scheduled for release in North America on August 9.
