The Guangchuan Crane Garden community under the scorching sun is quiet and tense, and the only people who come and go are epidemic prevention personnel.

On the afternoon of June 17, the hierarchical classification prevention and control of the Fangcun area in Liwan District made major adjustments, and the degree of freedom of residents in some key areas and control areas became larger, and only 4 pieces and 3 points still needed to be closed for management. Heyuan Community is one of them.

On the morning of the same day, the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission reported that on June 16, there were 4 new confirmed cases in Guangzhou, all of which were residents of Heyuan Community, and on June 7, they were included in the isolation hotel as close contacts of the cases in the closed management area.

Because it appeared in the briefing for half a month, the Heyuan community has always touched people's hearts. As of June 17, the cumulative number of cases in Heyuan Community reached 59, which is the most concentrated area of the epidemic in Guangzhou. Since the first confirmed case appeared on 26 May, it has been closed for 23 days.

Closed

On 21 May, Grandma Guo, who lives in Jinlong Community, Longjin Subdistrict, Liwan District, was confirmed to be the first case of the current outbreak in Guangzhou.

Heyuan Community, 7 kilometers away from Jinlong Community. "I'm still a little worried." Chen Zhen, 68, who lives in East Lane 11 of heyuan community, said he had already begun to pay attention to the epidemic in Guangzhou at that time. On May 26, the day after he returned home, he received a community notification: Don't go out.

In the early morning of May 26, a family of three in the eastern part of Heyuan Community was transferred to the Eighth People's Hospital of Guangzhou City for isolation and treatment after being reviewed positive by the disease control department.

At the same time, the frontline anti-epidemic work in Heyuan Community was launched.

In the early morning of the same day, the Baihedong police station received an urgent task, and more than 40 police officers in the station set up cards overnight, surrounded the community with 200 water horses, and the police began to take turns at the gate of the community for 24 hours. Huang Zhouzhou, deputy director of the Baihedong Street Police Station, recalled that in the early morning of May 26, the first group of close contacts in the community were transferred. On the morning of the same day, the first round of nucleic acid testing was carried out in Liwan District, and the eastern area of Heyuan Community was adjusted to a medium-risk area.

On May 27 and 29, confirmed cases continued to appear in Heyuan Community.

Prevention and control have been upgraded step by step. On May 29, the entire Baek ho Dong Street was designated as a medium-risk area, and all people in the area were quarantined at home. On May 31, the entire area of Baihedong Street was closed and managed, all personnel did not leave their homes, and daily necessities were distributed by the street. On June 2, Baihedong Street and Zhongnan Street were adjusted to high-risk areas.

After the community was closed, resident Lu Qing began to work online from home. Yang Mingguang, who lives in the middle of the Heyuan community, paces back and forth to exercise in his home of 70 square meters every day.

Since June 9, Su Jie, a police officer at the Liwan Branch of the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau, has been in charge of the card points in the third to ninth lanes of the middle film, and sometimes as a member of the "three-person team" to enter the household service. His post was next to the building where the confirmed case was found, and he had seen the day and night in the Crane Garden community. "The average resident will obey the management." Sujie said.

Deployed

Huang Xiaoyu is a member of the "three-person team" in the Heyuan community, and his daily task is to sweep the buildings and enter the households, conduct health monitoring and nucleic acid testing for residents in home isolation.

At 13:00 on June 7, the maximum temperature in Guangzhou reached 33 °C, and Huang Xiaoyu was still wrapped in a thick protective suit. Once, when I went into the house to work for more than two hours, the "three-person team" was soaked by the end.

The implementation of various measures for closed and sealed management, the guarantee of residents' living materials, the investigation of key personnel, and the transfer of close contacts have been carried out simultaneously, and public security police, volunteers, community workers, and party members and cadres have also been stationed.

Heyuan Community is located in Liwan District Fangcun Avenue East Crane Cave Road, the community is divided into three areas, east and west, the community buildings were mostly built in the 1950s and 1960s, 70s and 1980s, with more than 8,000 households, about 7,000 actual households, basically based on the old employees of Guangchuan and their descendants, belonging to the typical elderly community, old community.

"There was no accurate data on how many people and how many elderly people there were in the Heyuan community before the outbreak of the epidemic." One health care worker said it placed a burden on their homework. "How many households there are, how many people live in a household, these must be re-verified and registered."

In the special period, the problem of the elderly seeking medical drugs has gradually become prominent. Volunteer Zeng Fanyao and Chen Li, a full-time officer of the neighborhood committee, have to count the medication problems of the elderly in the jurisdiction every day. "At the beginning of the epidemic, only more than 10 people needed to buy drugs every day, and soon the team that needed to buy drugs has expanded to hundreds of people." Chen Li said.

"There are 8 staff members in the neighborhood committee, which is too busy." Chen Li said that this situation was not alleviated until the community hospital opened a channel for purchasing drugs during the epidemic and the strength of the drug distribution team of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group joined.

On June 7, the Guangzhou Municipal Health Commission announced that it has basically established a three-level emergency medical service guarantee system in the closed and controlled area to basically meet the daily medical needs of residents in the closed area. In this system, the first level is the "three-person team", the second level is the community health service center, and the third level is the hospital.

transfer

"Don't gather, get on the bus in an orderly manner!" On the evening of June 7, more than 10 buses stopped on Hedong Road in front of the community, and staff in protective clothing repeatedly shouted at residents with loudspeakers. That night, more than 1,600 Crane Garden residents were transferred to the quarantine hotel.

The purpose of transferring personnel is to detect suspicious cases as soon as possible, strive to reduce the risk of community transmission, quickly and effectively block the transmission chain of the epidemic, and better manage the health status of key populations. From May 26, the transfer of the Heyuan community began.

Xie Qixian of the Heyuan Community Neighborhood Committee' daily job is to take the "loud public" to the downstairs of the unit that needs to be transferred, beckon the neighbors to pack their bags, and go to the concentration point to take a bus to the isolation hotel.

"It's not enough to shout, and some still need to go to the door to persuade." Xie Qixian told reporters that most residents are more cooperative and supportive, but some elderly people can only arrange for them to be isolated at home because of their physical condition, and some residents are reluctant to transfer because of some concerns, he can only try to help solve, such as encountering residents who can't rest assured that pets, he will try to coordinate the pets to be sent to their relatives and friends.

Reboot

Since June, confirmed cases in the Heyuan community have been continuously found. On June 10, the epidemic prevention and control site command center of Heyuan Community, Baihedong Street, Liwan District, Guangzhou city was established. On the 13th, the command headquarters moved forward to the Heyuan Community Football Stadium and became the command center at the forefront of community prevention and control.

The community epidemic prevention and control map shows that at present, 15 buildings are closed, 8 buildings are to be transferred (residents are transferred to isolated hotels), and the distribution points of close contact and sub-close contact are basically scattered throughout the Heyuan community.

Stationed in Crane Garden together with the command, there are 11 teams that tackle tough problems such as comprehensive coordination, personnel transfer, community prevention and control, material support, and nucleic acid testing.

On June 13, due to the confirmed case of the building where the Heyuan Community Neighborhood Committee is located, all members of the neighborhood committee were centrally isolated. On the same day, a support team of 10 people entered the Guangchuan Crane Garden community to form a temporary neighborhood committee.

Ou Yanming, acting secretary and director of the provisional neighborhood committee, said that the 10-person team should restart various epidemic prevention affairs in the Heyuan community "from scratch" on the basis of not being able to contact the previous team.

In the case of the decrease in the number of residents in the jurisdiction, the Heyuan community has added an epidemic prevention grid ("three-person team"), which has been adjusted from the original 32 to the current 49.

Since June 15, the staff of the Heyuan Temporary Neighborhood Committee have clearly felt that residents have called less, and the average daily demands of residents have dropped by half. "The various articulation work has been straightened out, and the problems of materials and medical treatment have been better guaranteed." Ou Yanming said.

The offensive is still not over, but the dawn is already in sight.

"They unsealed, and we're fast." On the evening of June 17, the news of "adjustment of hierarchical classification prevention and control measures in Fangcun Area" and "adjustment of Zhongnan Street from high-risk areas to low-risk areas" quickly spread among residents of Heyuan Community. Although the unsealed area did not include the Heyuan community, Yang Mingguang was still excited after hearing the news: "I firmly believe that I can soon go outdoors to bask in the sun and take a walk." ”
