Synopsis of "A Generation of Hong Shang"
Hongjiang has been an important post station and bustling commercial port in western Hunan since ancient times, rich in high-quality tung oil, called "Hongyou". Liu Yunxiang, the treasurer of Yuanlong Oil, and Yang Tongchang, the manager of Hengshun Oil, were originally craftsmen who were responsible for their duties, but they were thrown into the torrent of history by the great changes of the times. Yang Dajiang, the eldest son of the Yang family, engaged in underground activities of the CCP to raise military funds for the revolution.
