After a day of staying in Doumanjiang, I saw the simplicity and positivity of The Korean peasants, and also reminded me of a lot of carefree and happy times in the last era, if what I saw in Doumanjiang was a copy of the traditional countryside in our country in the 90s, then what we saw in Pyongyang was a different scene, in our impression, North Korea is like Doumanjiang, there is no modern buildings and facilities, there is no scene of high-rise buildings.

When we arrived in Pyongyang, we found that it was not quite what I imagined, and when I got off the train, the cement floor of the station was a little shiny, and the station made me feel like I had come to a small county town. The girl in the long red, green and green dress in front of the station seemed to be receiving tourists from afar, put away her curiosity, followed the guide out of the station, and saw the real Pyongyang for the first time.
Pyongyang has a long history and is the birthplace of korean national history, and Tanjun took Pyongyang as the starting point and thus established ancient Korea. It can be seen that Pyongyang's status is very important and has a long history. Now Pyongyang can also be called an international metropolis, the city's various high-rise buildings stand, I heard that the highest floor has been built to 105 floors, can be regarded as the key city of North Korea's efforts to build, high-rise buildings and modern facilities everywhere, but also let us have a further understanding of North Korea.
However, other places in North Korea, the development is still very backward, there are no high-rise buildings, and it is precisely because of this that my impression of North Korea has been stuck in the 90s, listening to the tour guide, although we have a lot of high-rise buildings here, but they are all residential buildings, which makes me very surprised, a hundred-story residential building is rare, in our country such high-rise buildings are basically commercial offices, rarely used to live, so going up and down the stairs is too inconvenient.
The tour guide heard my doubts explain, our country housing is basically the state allocation, where to live, there are not many people who really live in high-rise buildings, most of them live in other places, most of the high-rise buildings here are empty, only people with outstanding contributions can live in such high-rise buildings, such as athletes, university professors and the like, and there are a small part of the reason, but also for the image of their own country, so it looks like a prosperous city.
On the way to the hotel, I saw that the greenery here is very good, there are flower beds, meadows everywhere, I can see a lot of residents are active in the park, driving less on the road, making people feel that there is no busyness in the big city, at this time I asked the tour guide, do they not have to work? Why rarely see cars, the tour guide said, here the car can not be bought by themselves, even if there is money can not buy, generally are state personnel or outstanding talents in various fields, the state will give rewards, not casually can buy.
Residents who engage in outdoor activities are mostly retirees, and here women can retire when they reach their fifties, because most of them are state-run units, and they can still enjoy social welfare after retirement, and they will be allocated the same living materials every month. No wonder their spirits look very good, but the countryside is not the same, and although the new countryside now has certain benefits, there is no pension. The pension is not very much, about a hundred yuan or so.
It can be seen that the life of the people of Pyongyang is still relatively rich, the tour guide went on to say that north Korea rarely has only children, the general elderly will help take care of their children after retirement, which is very similar to China, and the children treat the elderly with great respect, they are here to reach the age of sixty, the children will hold birthday banquets, because they do not have to worry about the reasons for their children's marriage, so the elderly are more hedonistic, they usually like to fish, or dance square dance. The elderly here live leisurely and freely, which confirms the Chinese saying that home and everything are still very happy.
Although the tour guide said that there was not much gap between the rich and the poor here, but I saw the appearance of the doumanjiang countryside, which made me quite believe that the sixty or seventy-year-old people there were still working in the fields, or carrying large bags to the streets and alleys, peddling goods. It's not like the hustle and bustle of this big city. Perhaps there is a gap between the rich and the poor in every place, and it is precisely because we have the impression that we see the backward places of North Korea and ignore its prosperous appearance today.
