Bo Le (Sun Yang) - A figure in the Lu Southwest dialect

Bole Soma

Sun Yang (孙阳), courtesy name Ziliang, was born in 680 BC and died in 610 BC, a native of the State of Gao (present-day Chengwu County, Heze City, Shandong). He was good at distinguishing the advantages and disadvantages of horses all his life, and because the legend says that the god who manages the horses in the sky is called Bole, people call him "Bole", which continues to this day, and his original name has been forgotten by people.

There are many stories about Bole (Sun Yang) Soma, and this article only mentions one example recorded in the Liezi: Qin Mugong said bole yue: "The son is old, and the son's surname can make the horse seeker care?" Bo Le said to him: "A good horse, can be described as a bone and muscle." The horse of the world, if it is destroyed, if it is not, if it is lost. If this one is in no way. The sons of the subjects are all subordinates, and they can be sued as good horses, and they cannot be sued as the horses of the world. There are nine fanggao in which the subject has a salary and a burden, and this is under the horse, not the subject. See you. "Mu Gong saw it, and asked for a horse. March is the opposite. The newspaper said: "It has been obtained, in the dunes." Mu Gongyue: "He Ma ye?" Right: "Yellow and yellow." "Let the people take it, and make it easy." Mu Gong did not say. Summoning Bo Le said, "Defeat! Whoever asks for a horse by the Son can know the color of mu mu shangfu, and who can know the horse? Bo Le sighed and said, "As for this?" It is the reason why it is so many subjects and countless people. Ruogao's view of the heavenly machine also. Gain its essence and forget its thickness, and forget its inside and forget its outside. See what he sees, not see what he does not see; see what he sees, and leave what he does not see. If the soma of Ruogao is a horse, there is also a noble horse. "Horses to the horse, the horse of the fruit world also." In this example, Sun Yang proposed that "the inner divine mechanism of Soma is to observe the essence of the horse and ignore its superficial phenomena, to see the essence of the horse and forget its appearance; Only look at what you should see, not what you don't have to see; Pay attention only to what you should pay attention to, and ignore the forms that you do not have to pay attention to. "Theory, I believe that it has practical significance for the selection and employment methods of enterprises and institutions today."

When he was a teenager, Sun Yang realized that it was difficult to make a difference in the narrow state of Gao, so he left his homeland and arrived in the Qin state and became a vassal of The Duke of Qin. Because of his meritorious service as Soma, he was trusted by Qin Mugong and was named "General of Bole". Later, after years of practice, long-term dedicated research, and rich experience in Soma, he systematically summarized and sorted it out, and wrote the first soma study work in China's history - "Bole Soma Sutra", but it was lost. In 1973, in the second and third Han tombs of Mawangdui in Changsha, Hunan Province, a long-lost "Soma Sutra" book was unearthed. The first part of the "Soma Sutra" writes that "The Phase of the Bole Sutra, the Horse of the Gentleman", indicating that this Soma Sutra, even if it is not the original text of the Bole Soma Sutra, was written by inheriting, absorbing and giving full play to the achievements of the Bole Soma Sutra. In addition, he was also a famous animal husbandry veterinarian in the Spring and Autumn Period, including the "Bole Needle Sutra", "Bole Healing Horse Classic", "Healing Horse Fang", "Bole Cure Horse Miscellaneous Diseases Sutra" and so on, which had a greater impact on the development of veterinary scholarship in later generations.
