Five academic institutions in Wuhan jointly held a forum to exchange the theme of the united front work of non-party intellectuals in the new era

On November 29, the "Forum on Non-Party Intellectuals and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics" jointly organized by the China United Front Theory Research Association for Non-Party Intellectuals United Front Work Theory Research Base, the Hubei Provincial Non-Party Intellectuals United Front Work Theory Research Base, the United Front Work Department of the Party Committee of Wuhan University, the Marxist College of Wuhan University, and the Wuhan Socialist College was held at Wuhan University.

The forum focused on the theme of "Ideological and Political Construction of Non-Party Intellectuals in the New Era", and received a total of 69 papers, and 98 experts, scholars and united front theoretical workers from famous colleges and universities, social academies, democratic parties in Wuhan attended. At the meeting, 15 experts and scholars from the Research Office of the United Front Work Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Central Socialist College, the Chinese University, the National Defense University, and other universities and research institutions were invited to make keynote speeches, and 25 authors of the papers made exchange speeches at the conference.

According to reports, the purpose of holding the forum is to carry forward the historical advantages and brand effect of the united front theory research of non-party intellectuals, lay a good foundation for accelerating the research of united front theory among non-party intellectuals in the new era, and also make new contributions to the innovative development of united front work in the new era.
