Aaron Brooks joined the Knicks as a player liaison for the team's two-way contract

The Knicks officially announced today that they have hired former NBA player Aaron Brooks, whose title is two-way contract player liaison, which means he will be responsible for some of the work of Knicks two-way contract players Theo Pinson and Jared Harper, and he will be involved in some of the work for the Knicks and Knicks development league team Westchester Knicks.

Last October, Brooks, who was playing for the Illawarra Eagles club in the Australian National Basketball League, tore his left Achilles tendon apart and was reimbursed for the season.

Brooks then turned his focus to coaching, intending to become a coach.

Brooks played in 10 seasons in the NBA, playing in 645 regular season games, averaging 9.7 points, 3 assists and 1.7 rebounds in 20.8 minutes per game.
