Pippi Movies / A great movie recommendation every day
American horror writer Stephen King is stan Lee from the horror film industry.
Since the release of the famous "Witch Carrie" in 1974, his novels have been successively adapted to the screen.
The "Shawshank Redemption", "Miracle in the Green", "The Shining", "Walk with Me", "Scars of Tears", and "Ten Days of Danger" are all from his wonderful writings.
To this day, almost all of his fiction works have been adapted into films, and even "1408", which only wrote a few manuscripts and was almost thrown away as waste paper, has been adapted into the movie "Phantom Murder".

In recent years, Chinese director Wen Ziren has made a sudden rise to create his "Conjuring" movie universe, which has occupied half of the horror film field, and Stephen King is busy making TV series, and his film works have not improved.
Until 2017, Anders Muschetti's "Joker Returns", with its excellent quality, played a turnaround battle and revived Stephen King's films.
This year Paramount Pictures continued to remake the 1989 horror classic Pet Graveyard, adapted by Matt Greenberg and Jeff Buller, co-directed by Kevin Kursch and Dennis Wiedmeier.
The original novel, also written in 1989, is considered to be one of Stephen King's most terrifying stories, and after the release of the film of the same name in the same year, a sequel was released in 1992, starring Edward Furlong, who had just made Terminator 2.

Duration: 101 minutes
The film tells the story of emergency room doctor Louis Klitz, who buys a villa in a rural town in Maine to escape the busy work environment and fast-paced city life, and moves here with his wife Rachel and his daughter Ellie, 9, and his youngest son Gage and his family of four.
The secluded life in the countryside was originally perfect, but the fly in the ointment was that there was a hidden road nearby, and there were often large trucks roaring by, and it was quite dangerous to be careless.
Therefore, the pets of nearby residents often run to the highway and accidentally let the car crash to death.
Of course, any animal accident will be buried in a cemetery behind the Louis family's house.
Over time, it became a pet cemetery, and nearby children would send their pet corpses here to bury them.
According to the deed, the land is actually owned by Louis.
The Louises soon became acquainted with their neighbor, Judd Clandall.
Judd is an old man who lives alone, has never left the town in his life, and lives here alone after his family has died.
Ever since moving into the villa, Louis has felt more and more strange, and he will dream of Victor Paspo, a patient he has rescued but eventually died of serious injuries, and has come to the cemetery behind the villa.
When Louis woke up the next day, he thought it was just a nightmare, but found that his feet were covered with dirt.
His wife, Rachel, also doesn't feel right, and she often hallucinates at home, seeing her sister Zelda, who died of illness as a child, come to her.
Unfortunately, one day Judd came to Louis and told him that his daughter Ellie's pet cat Church had been hit by a car on the road.
In order not to let Ellie know, Louis asked Judd to hide Church's body first, and then the two of them sneaked into the cemetery to bury it in the evening.
Judd liked Ellie very much, and in order not to make her sad, Judd took Louis to the depths of the dense forest in the back mountain, and chose an ancient cemetery for Louis to bury Church here.
In fact, this new version of "Pet Cemetery" ignores the introduction of this cemetery, which is an Indian cemetery cursed by the Indian chieftain in the original book, and has the magic of bringing the buried corpses back to life.
Sure enough, the next day, something strange happened.
The cat, who had been dead, returned to Louis's house.
Louis, though strange, was happy to see Church come back to life, so that he would no longer have to comfort Ellie, who had lost her cat.
But both Louis and Ellie soon discovered that the cat was very different from before.
The fur on its body became dirty and smelled, and its originally docile personality became very irritable, aggressive, and would approach and try to control its youngest son, Gage.
Louis knew that Judd must know all this, so he went to Judd's house and asked him for advice.
Judd explains why, the graveyard is cursed, and the buried corpse will be revived, but the personality will change.
Judd's former dog used to bite after being resurrected, and was later beaten to death.
Judd had thought that cats had lower IQs than dogs and shouldn't have changed much, but he was wrong.
After learning the reason, Louis initially wanted to inject Church with poison to make him die, but he could not do it, and finally decided to abandon it far away from home.
But on Ellie's birthday, Church came back from the road, much to Ellie's surprise.
Just then, Louis's youngest son, Gage, suddenly ran onto the highway, just as a tanker truck passed by.
The driver slammed the steering wheel to avoid Gage, causing the tanker truck to roll over, and the big tank came out and hit Ellie directly.
Ellie was hit by a car like this, and Louis, who lost his daughter, could not suppress the pain in his heart, he could not accept the pain of losing his daughter, and he couldn't help but think of the graveyard that could "bring the dead back to life".
So after his daughter's funeral, Louis asked his wife, Rachel, to take Gicky back to town first, and he panicked that he still had something to deal with and stayed.
In order not to prevent Judd from stopping him, Louis drugged him in the wine and let Judd pass out.
Then Louis dug his daughter's body out of the grave, took it to the Indian cemetery, and buried her in the soil.
Soon Ellie came back to life, and although her whole body exuded the smell of death, she still remembered what had happened before and was impressed by the scene of the car accident.
So Louis concluded that the strange girl was indeed his resurrected daughter.
But Louis soon discovers that Ellie is no longer as obedient as she once was, and that she has become very violent and unhappy that Louis has resurrected her without permission.
On the night of Ellie's resurrection, Rachel in the city is also restless, and she will dream of Victor standing in front of him bloodied, which makes Rachel sleep hard, and she decides to return to the villa to find Luis.
Halfway through Rachel's call to Louis but no one answered, she had to call her neighbor Judd and ask him to check it out.
Judd knocks on the door of Louis's house, but Louis hides his way, and Judd instantly understands that Louis must have secretly revived his daughter.
Judd was horrified, and sensing that the resurrected Ellie would come to attack him first, he hurried back home and found a pistol from the drawer for self-defense.
Ellie soon broke into Judd's house and killed him with a knife.
Rachel finally returns home and asks Louis to hurry up and follow her.
That's when Ellie came out of the house and reached out to hug Rachel.
But Rachel knows that the girl in front of her is not her own daughter, Ellie, but an evil ghost.
In the evening, Ellie sneaks in and kills Rachel and drags her into the Indian Cemetery.
Louis was devastated by the longing for his daughter, and when he could not find his wife and daughter, he knew they must have gone to the Indian cemetery.
Louis locked his son Gage in the car and went to the cemetery himself to find Rachel and Ellie.
Louis soon finds Ellie, but Ellie wants to kill him, and the father and daughter fight together.
Although Ellie was possessed by a ghost, after all, she was still a child, and was soon knocked to the ground by Louis in the melee.
Just as Louis tried to beat her to death, an iron cross crossed her chest, and Rachel, who had turned out to be dead, came back to life in the cemetery.
At the end of the film, Louis, Rachel, and Ellie all return from the graveyard and stand in front of Gage.
We all know that all three of them have become the living dead, and their next target is Gage in the car, and the family of four has achieved a "reunion" here.
As a remake, the new version of "Pet Graveyard" is much the same as the original version, except that the original version died in a car accident with Louis's son Gage, and the new version was replaced by his daughter Ellie.
The pace of the movie is a bit slow, but the horror atmosphere is still very well created, which is a very good work.
The resurrected kitten Church looks dirty and disgusting, and was created with makeup and post-special effects processing, and the cat character in the film is actually played by two star cats, Leon and Tang Li.
