"Still leaning on the sleepless night looking at the stars in the sky, still hearing the violin like crying and then teasing..." When the classic Cantonese song "Moon And Half Serenade" was sung, the audience was quiet, and the violin solo sounded melodiously, reverberating in the Magnolia Grand Theatre.
On the evening of September 12th, Dongguan Yulan Grand Theatre was full of people, and the 244th "Blooming Magnolia" art popularization public welfare activity "Affair with the String" Chen Jiayi Violin Solo and "Son of the Sun" Quartet Concert was held here (click here to watch the live broadcast >>>), attracting many fans to cheer up.
Guided by the Propaganda Department of the Dongguan Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and sponsored by the Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, this performance is also the 244th "Blooming Magnolia" art popularization public welfare activity of Dongguan Yulan Grand Theatre.
Original songs are sung in turn with classic melodies
"Three hundred and sixty-five days are spent year after year, one day, one journey..." At about 8 p.m., the "Son of the Sun" opened the concert with the classic song "Three Hundred and Sixty-Five Mile Road". Immediately afterward, "Son of the Sun" sang songs such as "Moni Hill". When the music of "Country Road" sounded, the audience spontaneously beat the beat and set off a small climax of the concert.
Among the 7 male vocal re-singing, in addition to singing songs such as the original music "Because You Fall in Love with Her", "Son of the Sun" also performed a number of classic old songs, including "Velvet Flower", etc., with beautiful melodies and touching and affectionate interpretations, so that online and offline audiences feasted their ears and received a piece of praise.
"Sons of the Sun" is a heavy singing group composed of local teachers in Dongguan, tenor Chen Guoke is a music teacher at Dongguan Experimental Middle School; chen antechnologist of the second tenor Chen Anru is the art administrator of Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports; chen quanzhang, baritone is a music teacher in the middle school of Dongguan Middle School; and bass li Yaojiang is a music teacher at Dongguan No. 5 Senior High School.
In 2021, "Son of the Sun" has nearly 200,000 fans on the whole network, and the most popular song "Shepherd of cocoto sea" has 5 million plays, and has been featured in "Culture Weekend", Magnolia Grand Theatre, Xinghai Concert Hall, CCTV stage, and gradually grown into a unique representative music business card in Dongguan.
"Dongguan Violin Rising Star" performs elegant repertoire
Dressed in a black and white dress and with neat short hair, Chen Jiayi, the "New Star of Dongguan Violin", often closes his eyes when he plays the violin solo.
As a native of Guancheng Street in Dongguan City, Chen Jiayi also appeared in this concert. "It's a pleasure to be exposed to pop music." Chen Jiayi said that the repertoire of this performance is arranged according to the instrumentation of popular songs, and for those who study classical music, the opportunity to contact popular performances is rare, "Under the guidance of teachers, these days have made great progress and good cooperation."
In fact, Chen Jiayi's two music teachers, Chen Anru and Chen Quanzhang, whom Chen Jiayi met during middle school, are also members of the "Son of the Sun", "This performance is also the first cooperation between myself and the four teachers of the 'Son of the Sun'." 'Children of the Sun' is performing for the first ten years this year, and for them as well as for themselves, this performance is very meaningful. ”
Since learning the piano at the age of 5, Chen Jiayi has now had nearly 20 years of learning the piano. She served as The Second Violin Principal of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra. During her studies at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Chen Jiayi won the first prize of the People's Scholarship, the first prize of the Fu Chengxian Memorial Scholarship, the Baosteel Outstanding Student Award, and the title of Outstanding Graduate of Shanghai Municipality, and was sent to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music to pursue a master's degree.
Next month, Chen Jiayi will study abroad. Thinking back to the scene on the last day of August, when she returned to Dongguan with a violin, she was full of emotions, "I feel honored to return to Dongguan to communicate with teachers and people in my hometown and complete the last performance before going abroad." Chen Jiayi said.
