Why the Band Of Night Wish Disbanded Reveal the reasons for the dissolution

Nightwish (Japanese Twilight Carol) is a theatre metal (bel canto metal) band from Finland founded in 1996. The lyrics for most of the band's songs were written by keyboardist Thomas Hollowani, and the voice of former female lead singer Taya Turonni made Wish of the Night internationally famous. After Taya Turenni was fired in October 2005, they approached Anette to take over and also added bassist Marco Hietara's voice. In addition to theater metal and new metal, the musical style of Night Wish has other musical elements. Thomas once described their music as "melodic metal expressed in female vocals". In October 2012, the band's lead singer Anette Olzon announced his departure, former After Forever lead singer Floor Jansen became the band's lead singer, and British composer, Irish elbow bagpipe and tin whistle player Troy Donockley became a regular member.

There was no dissolution, just a change in the lead singer This is an open letter sent when the original lead singer Tarja left the team, and the above explanation is relatively clear to The open letter to Tagya (Chinese version)

The live recording of "The End of Time" was a great success

Night Wish recorded a live version of End of Time yesterday at the Hartwall Theatre in Helsinki. As the reader can imagine, the atmosphere of the theater is quite hot, but also quite sad. It was the final performance of Once's one-and-a-half-year world tour. Wish of the Night would like to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for this incredible journey.

Unfortunately, the title End of Time has a deeper meaning. This open letter to Taggia after the show says it all. The full text is as follows:

Dear Taga,

Now is the time to choose between ending the night wish or continuing for an indefinite period of time.

We've worked with it for 9 years and aren't going to give up yet.

Night wish is a path of life, something to live for, and we certainly can't let it end there.

And of course, we can't go down with you and Marcelo Cabuli (her husband, Argentine entrepreneur wings).

A lot of things happened this year, and every day and night, my mind was haunted by these things. Your attitude and behavior are completely inconsistent with the night wish.

It was something I had never believed to see in my dear old friend.

People who don't speak for a year can't stay in the same band.

We are involved in an industry where the commercial side of things becomes a necessary evil and needs to be worried at every moment.

We are also a band that always needs to make music with heart, for friendship, for the music itself. Spiritual satisfaction should always be more important than money!

Night Wish is a band, it's an emotion.

Unfortunately for you, business, money, and things that can't be done with emotions have become more important, and important. You feel like you've sacrificed yourself and your musical career for Nightwing, without the slightest thought about what the band has given you.

This attitude, two of the words you said to me on the plane in Toronto, have been made clear:

"I don't need a night wish anymore."

"Remember Thomas, I can leave the band at any time and give you just one day's notice."

I can't write you any more songs.

You've said you're just a "guest musician" in The Night Wish. Now that the guest is over, we will continue the night wish with a new female singer.

You tell us that no matter what, the next Wish of the Night album is your last. However, as long as the fire is not extinguished, the rest of us will always move forward. So there's no point in working with you on this album anymore.

The four of us have thought about the situation countless times and found that this is what we actually have to do, and that's all we can do.

In December 2004, you said you would never tour Germany again for more than half a month. He also said that we should forget about the United States and Australia, because the remuneration is too low and the venue is too small.

In an interview, I mentioned that if Tagya was gone, the band would be over. I know people think that way. However, night wishing is a landscape of my soul, and I'm not going to let go just because I'm alone — because of someone who wants to contribute creativity to others, someone whose values don't match mine!

You've never been involved in the choreography, you've never rehearsed with us before you went to the studio to record, you always had to leave us alone with your husband when you were touring, and you were always the band's indisputable front-of-the-counter image — we never bothered about it.

We can accept everything, but we can't accept greed, belittling fans, and breaking conventions. The five of us agreed that in 2004-2005, the night wish should give priority to everything. Yet there are so many things that are more important to you. The last example is the concert in Oslo, where tickets have been sold out, and you have to cancel it because you have to rehearse your own solo songs, meet friends, and watch movies. This is Marcelo's words explaining the withdrawal in an email. And that's just one of so many things! I can't think of anything worse than selfishness and rejection of fans.

Night wishing is a way of life with a lot of responsibilities. This is true for us, and it is also true for music fans. Together with you, we can no longer live up to these obligations.
