Seventeenth Blessed Land
Dinghu Mountain is quiet and quiet, in such a remote environment, as early as the Tang Dynasty Yifeng period (676-679 AD), the six ancestors Huineng's high-footed disciple Zhi Chang Zen Master founded the Baiyun Temple in Laoding. Later, thirty-six monasteries under baiyun temple were built in the vicinity, known as "thirty-six strokes", which became a famous Buddhist holy place.

Qingyun Temple is said to have been built in the sixth year of Ming Chongzhen (1633), when the "monks in the temple" used the tiger's nest knot grass on Lotus Peak as a nunnery. The following year, he invited the monks to become the abbot of Dinghu Mountain, and later built a five-story hall on the mountain. After the temple was later built, the senior monk Qiyuan Master saw that there was fog around the place, and there was a lake on the top of the mountain, "the sky will rain, and the lake will emerge first", so he renamed the Lotus Temple to today's "Qingyun Temple".
Since the construction of Qingyun Temple, incense has been flourishing and pilgrims have gathered. In the nineteenth year of Guangxu (1893), on the sixtieth birthday of Empress Dowager Cixi, she gave the "Wanshou Qingyun Temple" plaque and the "Dragon Tibetan Sutra" and repaired the temple, which is one of the four famous stops in Lingnan.

Peng Tailai wrote the five characters of "Seventeenth Blessed Land", which hangs on the lintel of the side mountain gate.
The plaque of "Seventeenth Blessed Land" is made of wooden planks, 220 cm long and 61 cm wide, seal book, yin carving; the left side of the plaque is inscribed "Peng Tailai according to the picture scripture inscription", divided into two straight lines, calligraphy, yin carving.
Architectural features
Qingyun Temple is symmetrically arranged according to the central axis, from bottom to top: the first floor of the Weituo Hall, which contains the Zhike Hall and the Cloud Room, and the South Guest Hall and the Drum Tower; the North Hall and the Bell Tower; the second floor of the Daxiong Treasure Hall, which contains the Hall of the Ancestors of the Eastern Tu and the Hall of The Garan, and the three halls are combined into one; the third floor of the Zhongzheng Hall; the fourth floor of the Pilu Hall, the South Of which there is the Tibetan Scripture Building and the Seven Buddhas Building, and the North Has the Sleeping Buddha Building and the Mother Buddha Building; and the fifth floor Pagoda Hall, that is, the original Lotus Temple. After the temple was completed, the master of the perch saw the surrounding fog and mist, and there was a lake on the top of the mountain, "the sky will rain, the lake will emerge first", so he renamed the Lotus Temple to Qingyun Temple.
