Red culture casts the flower of ideals and beliefs. In the National Vocational College Red Story Competition, the work "Zhang Ziqing Sacrifices Salt" submitted by Ji'an Vocational College won the first prize in the country. At the Ji'an Red Tourism "Five Good" Docent Competition held in 2021, Yin Feiru and Wang Weiwei, students of the school's Tourism College, won the gold medal.
Through the "five projects" of Jinggangshan red culture, Ji'an Vocational College vigorously promotes red culture, inherits red genes, strengthens the effect of red culture in educating people, strengthens the ideals and beliefs of teachers and students, and consolidates the foundation of civilized campus. That is, to implement the project of casting the soul of ideals and beliefs, and to make the series of red culture training a compulsory course for teachers' induction training and teacher rotation training; to implement the "professional Jinggangshan red culture" construction project, to integrate jinggangshan red culture with professional curriculum construction and professional knowledge exercises; to implement the classroom teaching reform project, innovate the teaching mode of "doing acting and learning" integrated courses, and give play to the main channel education function of ideological and political science; implement the red culture teaching material development project, pay attention to excavating the resources of red culture education in Jinggangshan; and implement the red dance drama creation and editing project. He created and edited dance dramas such as "Memory Luling, Eternal Jinggang", and won the "Lotus Award", the highest award of Chinese dance.

In 2016, ji'an vocational college issued the "Implementation Outline of Cultural Education" with the theme of implementing the fundamental task of Li De Shuren and promoting cultural quality education, which implemented cultural education into the whole process of school education and teaching, and provided institutional guarantees for the creation of civilization. The school's party committee was rated as an advanced grass-roots party organization in the province, won the honorary title of "five good" county-level team of the leading group of the city's municipal units, the school Youth League Committee was rated as the city's advanced Communist Youth League organization for four consecutive years, the school was rated as an advanced unit for creating a national civilized city, the third civilized campus in Ji'an City, "If Dance Has Color" won the award in the fourth "Ideological and Political Science Class in My Heart" National College Students Micro-film Display Activity, "He Said He Wanted to Quit School", "I Am Eighteen Years Old" at the Fourth "National College Students Network Culture Festival" and " The National Colleges and Universities Online Education Outstanding Works Selection and Display Activity won the award, and is the only award-winning vocational college in the province.
Volunteer culture, light up service dedication love. "Children, help me see if I can still use this electric kettle?" At the New Era Civilization Practice Center Station in Xiyuan Community, Wenshan Street, Ji'an City, residents are surrounding a group of students wearing volunteer red vests, which turned out to be the monthly volunteer service team of home appliance doctors of Ji'an Vocational Hospital. Since the school issued the "Implementation Plan on Promoting Volunteer Service Work" in December 2016, volunteers from all walks of life in Ji'an City have been active in the school. Sending literature and art to the countryside, sending education into the community, sending services into units, and sending care into families, the school carries out more than 150 off-campus volunteer service activities every year, with an average of more than 12 volunteer services per month, and the average annual volunteer service time per capita is more than 40 hours.
Since 2017, the school has organized more than 30 volunteers to carry out "warm winter spring festival" volunteer services in railway stations, high-speed rail stations, bus terminals, etc. every year, to carry out "warm winter spring festival" volunteer services for passengers or to help with luggage, or guide the ride, or deliver tea to warm up, which is highly praised by the people of the old area of Ji'an, and has also been rated as an excellent team of national spring festival volunteer service; in the summer of 2021, in response to the "double reduction" policy, the star plan team of the Marxist Institute of the university carried out "love summer nursery class" in xingshan community of Jinggangshan Economic and Technological Development Zone. Campus culture, civilization and literacy are in action. The school has always firmly grasped the political direction, value orientation and public opinion orientation, managed and combined various campus cultural activities to create a campus cultural brand with distinct value orientation and bright school characteristics. The school has built Jinggangshan Red Family Bookstore, Dongzhong Art Museum, Teachers and Students Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition Center, Pottery Master Studio, Jizhou Kiln Non-genetic Inheritance Class, red calligraphy and painting creation, intangible cultural heritage education has become an important carrier and medium for cultivating students' sentiments and enhancing civilization literacy, and the school has been awarded the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Demonstration Base" and "Traditional Skills Inheritance Demonstration Base" by the National Vocational College Cultural Quality Education Steering Committee.
Ji'an Vocational College adheres to the practice of educating people, excavates the elements of cultural education, and carries out the Red Culture and Art Festival, the Campus Culture and Art Festival, the Dormitory Civilization Improvement Project, and the Community Culture and Art Festival every year. In the Red Story Telling Contest, the participants told one red story after another to inspire people to forge ahead; in the college students' career planning competition, they took root in the grassroots of rural education, chose to serve the country and join the army after graduation, and stayed in Ji'an to serve local economic development. The goals outlined by the contestants are full of their home and country feelings and social responsibilities. This year marks the centenary of the founding of the party, and the student work department of the party committee also produced 185 propaganda boards for the deeds of revolutionary martyrs, and put a wall on the stairs and corridors in the student dormitory, so that students can bathe in a red atmosphere.
In order to guide students to cultivate and practice the core values of socialism and consolidate and deepen the achievements in the creation of civilized campuses, the school combined with the practical activities of "I do practical things for teachers and students" in the study and education of party history, and launched the school-wide civilization literacy improvement project, and listed it as a key people's livelihood project to promote, insisting on cultural people, from the four levels of schools, colleges, classes and individual students to carry out the "13456" action, explore the formation of a long-term mechanism for the improvement of students' civilization literacy, consolidate and enhance the achievements of civilization construction.
