Jingxi rice, also known as "JingxiGong rice", is mainly produced in Shangzhuang Town, Haidian District, western Beijing, Ximafang Dongmafang and other places. Jingxi rice is a thousand-year-old Jingxi rice through ecological cultivation and production.

The main rice-producing area in West Beijing is located in the Ximafang Rice Planting Base in Shangzhuang Town, Haidian District, Cuihu Wetland, which has a good ecological environment. According to historical records, it has been cultivated for more than 300 years. In that year, the Qianlong Emperor went down to Jiangnan, brought back the purple and gold hoop rice seeds, tried to plant them in the west of Beijing, and the grain rice produced was for the court to eat, so it was also known as "gong rice".
