The Malayan eagle owl is mainly distributed in Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and other countries in Southeast Asia.

Its natural habitats are humid tropical or subtropical forest lowlands.

Compared to other species of eagle owl, it stands out by a pair of large round eyes.
But don't be fooled by its cute appearance, the Malayan eagle owl is an extremely ferocious bird that can catch large animals such as monkeys and fawns.
They usually feed mainly on small mammals, birds, bird eggs and invertebrates.
Malayan eagle owl lay 2-4 eggs per nest and the chicks have white feathers.
