The brown-headed plover ( scientific name : Turdus feae ) is a bird of the genus Turdus feae in the family Grebe , commonly known as the Fischer's grass-piercing plover. It is found in Myanmar, India and other places such as Hebei and Beijing in Chinese mainland, and mostly lives in dark, damp mixed forest edges at altitudes of 1500-1900 meters, especially likes to move in open spaces of small mountain streams, and often hides among streams or trees.
