The reporter came to the community and found that there were many snail shell creatures crawling on a courtyard wall, and the small head protruded from the shell, and there was a pair of small tentacles on the head. Nearby residents said their biggest concern was that the screws could be spikes that would spread schistosomiasis.
In order to understand the situation, the reporter contacted the Taixing Cd-operative Center, the relevant staff quickly rushed to the scene, after inspection, the wall crawled on the smoke pipe snail. Professionals introduced that the pipe snail lives in a humid environment, in the rainy day will climb up the wall, there is no risk of infectious diseases, will not cause harm to human health, we do not have to worry, with boiling water after the sweep can be, do not need to use chemical drugs to kill.
In addition, experts remind that snails are an important part of schistosomiasis infection. In the summer, the climate is humid and snail breeding, if the public finds an uncertain snail, shaped like a nail snail, do not contact it yourself, you can immediately report to the CDC and be handled by professionals.
