On the morning of February 25, the National Poverty Alleviation Summary and Commendation Conference was solemnly held in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The meeting read out the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Awarding the Honorary Title of National Model for Poverty Alleviation" and the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Commending Advanced Individuals and Collectives in Poverty Alleviation throughout the Country."
At the meeting, General Secretary Xi Jinping and other central leading comrades presented awards to the honorary title winners of the national poverty alleviation model, the representatives of the advanced individuals and advanced collectives in the national poverty alleviation.
It is reported that 3 members of the Standing Committee of the 13th All-China Youth Federation and 13 members of the Provincial (Autonomous Region, Municipality Directly Under the Central Government) and the Industry (System) Youth Federation have been commended by the National Advanced Individual commendation for poverty alleviation.
