In order to summarize and commend the learning achievements of the first outstanding international students in Belarus, encourage the advanced, unite people's hearts, and promote the school's foreign cooperation to a higher level, on the afternoon of October 18, 2021, the first commendation conference for international students in Belarus of Henan Art Vocational College was successfully held in the school lecture hall.
President Zhou Baoquan, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission Xue Yanming, Director of the School Office Xu Feiyue, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office Ye Aixin, Director of the Academic Affairs Office Chen Jing, Director of the Student Affairs Office Zhang Ruilian, Deputy Director of the Office of Foreign Cooperation Cao Yanhua and deans of the secondary colleges attended the meeting. The first batch of students who went to Belarus to be commended, the students of the second Russian preparatory class and the representatives of students of various second-level colleges attended the meeting. School leaders presented honorary certificates and scholarships to the commended international students. Seven students, including Guo Suting, Yue Zelan, Guo Youming, Meng Shikun, Huang Shuai, and Li Haoyuan and Feng Zihan of the Conservatory of Film and Television Arts, were commended, and honorary certificates for outstanding students and 5,000 yuan per person scholarship were awarded; xie ziwen of the conservatory and Liu Xue of the school of dance were commended.
After 6 months of preparatory study, the first batch of students to Belarus successfully passed the entrance examination of Belarusian Normal University and BelarusIan State University, and will continue to study in Belarus. In the past six months, the students have overcome difficulties, studied diligently, showed courage and confidence, paid sweat and wisdom, and achieved excellent results.
Guo Suting, an outstanding international student representative and an international student at Belarusian State Normal University, and Li Haoyuan, an international student at Belarusian State University, made enthusiastic speeches, expressing their yearning for future study and life.
President Zhou Baoquan made a concluding speech. He first congratulated the students on passing the entrance examination of belarusian universities and praised the excellent results achieved by the students in the past six months. President Zhou Baoquan combined his own experience in studying belarus and encouraged the students to study in Belarus, pursue undergraduate, master's, or even doctoral degrees, increase their insights, broaden their horizons, become excellent international talents, and contribute to the construction of the motherland.
President Zhou Baoquan said that the Belarusian national art atmosphere is rich, belarusian state university is a world-class famous university, Belarusian state normal university is the best teacher training art university in Belarus, requiring second-level colleges to further promote the study abroad program in Belarus.
