On October 23, the Municipal Red Cross Society organized a walking publicity activity with the theme of "Life Covenant, Great Love Transmission". Further promote the development of human organ donation and volunteer service, and create a good atmosphere for social participation and support for human organ donation. Nearly 100 volunteers from the Central Hospital, Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Gangcheng Hospital, member units of the Municipal Red Cross Society, participated in the activity.
Before the start of the event, the relevant person in charge of the Red Cross issued an initiative to all sectors of society, hoping that more caring people would join the human organ (body) donation team! Let more life be extended and passed on! After announcing the official start of the "Covenant of Life, Great Love Transmission", the majority of volunteers dressed in uniform, waving the Red Cross propaganda flag in their hands, marching along the route with excited steps, starting from Lily Square to South Street, Net Red Bridge, East Bridge, Chinese Medicine Hospital, Tianyi Square and then back to Lily Square for a full 5 kilometers, the volunteers were high-spirited, walking lightly and steadily, forming a beautiful landscape. Along the way, the volunteers also passed on their own flags and leaflets to the public.
After the event, all the volunteers who participated in the activity signed the promotional banner of "Life Covenant, Great Love Transmission", and expressed their willingness to do their best to serve the society regardless of remuneration, uphold the principle of Red Cross volunteer service, spread the Red Cross spirit of "humanity, fraternity and dedication", and contribute to protecting people's lives and building a harmonious society!
