Relying on design empowerment, "Shunde Intelligent Manufacturing" has become a global "hit" and provides a "sample" for global manufacturing upgrades.

Today, under the guidance of the People's Government of Guangdong Province, Guangdong Industrial Design City and Guangdong Industrial Design Association jointly sponsored the "2020 Shunde Design Week & DWE Guangdong Industrial Design Industry Expo" in Guangdong Industrial Design City, Shunde District. Shunde ushered in the "grand event" of the industrial design industry.

It is reported that this "week + exhibition" activity will be extended from October 29 to December 12, and explore offline and online linkage, for the first time to open a "cloud exhibition platform", so that "design Shunde" wonderful non-stop. This year's event also adopts the dual themes of "design in science and technology" and "design in life", focusing on industry trends and looking forward to the future of the industry.

It is understood that this event continues the "week + exhibition" model, that is, the 2020 Shunde Design Week and the DWE Guangdong Industrial Design Industry Expo are held simultaneously, and the joint promotion of "one exhibition and one week" is realized.

According to reports, during the 2020 Shunde Design Week and DWE Guangdong Industrial Design Industry Expo, more than 30 series of activities such as the 2020 DWE Design Innovation Conference, the Dialogue Design Capital Exchange Activity, the China International Food Design Festival, and the Guanghua Design Dragon Teng Award Guangdong Ten Awards Conference will be carried out successively.

Through a number of special activities, as well as high-end dialogues and sharing meetings gathering the design community, we discussed, analyzed design empowerment and discussed the industrial situation and design business model in the new environment from different perspectives, displayed the innovative achievements of the design community and industry, promoted design talents, and popularized design knowledge. In addition, this year's event specially invited "Father of China's Industrial Design" Liu Guanzhong, Guangdong Industrial Design Association President Hu Qizhi, Shenzhen Design and Art Alliance Chairman Ren Kelei and other dozens of industry leaders gathered together, together on digital design, intelligent design, blockchain technology design applications, smart home, smart industrial design, in-depth perspective of the forefront of industrial development.

It is worth noting that this year also explored the "cloud" exhibition, and its cloud exhibition platform was also launched simultaneously. Relying on digital technology, this expo for the first time to open up the "cloud exhibition + cloud live broadcast" model, 365 days a year, 24 hours uninterrupted online, "Shunde design" wonderful non-stop.

Focus: Build a platform to promote the transformation of design creative achievements

"Week + Exhibition" set up a stage, so that more high-quality designs can find their own "stage". It is reported that through the platform of this design week and THE DWE Expo, it will form an effective docking with local manufacturing and design resources, help the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry, and promote the effective expansion of the service capabilities and service scope of the design industry itself.

According to reports, this event attracted the participation of "head enterprises" such as Huawei, Xiaomi, Baidu, Tencent, Alibaba, etc., which will bring new concepts, thinking, methods and paths to manufacturing and design service enterprises in the Greater Bay Area, and greatly promote the optimization and combination of design and whole industry chain integration and innovation. The case of local outstanding enterprises driving transformation and upgrading with industrial design will collide with new sparks in the docking.

Concern: Design-driven to empower Shunde's high-quality development

Shunde is an important manufacturing base in Guangdong Province, with home appliances, machinery and equipment two major "over 100 billion" industrial clusters, and relying on industrial design, Shunde manufacturing is moving towards transformation and upgrading.

In recent years, the Shunde District Committee and District Government have focused on and attached importance to the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry. Recently, the Shunde District Committee and District Government sorted out the original eight pillar industries, re-divided and positioned according to the "leading industry + emerging industry + characteristic industry" and "2 + 4 + 4" industrial layout, and planned regional gear shift acceleration and sustainable and high-quality development. It is worth noting that industrial design is in the position of a strategic emerging industry in Shunde.

In September 2018, the Shunde District Committee and District Government issued and implemented the "Three-Year Action Plan for Designing Shunde", comprehensively launched the construction of a global industrial design highland, and promoted the high-end, branding and international development of the industrial design industry. Shunde takes "Design Shunde" as an important guide for the upgrading and development of industry and cities, takes advantage of the momentum to promote the high-quality development of the industrial design industry, builds a strong industrial design industry based on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, radiates the whole country and even the world, and promotes the creation of an "industrial design capital".
