Plumlee: The Hornets were young and hungry and impressed by the team's selfless toughness

Hornets player Mason Plumlee talked about joining the Hornets in an interview.

Plumlee said he was impressed by the Hornets' selfless passing and the intensity of the confrontation on the defensive end in two games against the Hornets last season.

"They're young and hungry," Plumlee said.

Speaking about his role positioning, Plumlee said he will try to find a balance in integrating into the new system and helping young players, and he himself is learning.

"They're all very smart guys, and they're going to learn fast." Plumlee said.
