La Liga officially launched the La Liga grassroots football program to further promote its exclusive sports training program and promote la Liga's exclusive expertise and training methods. The programme is part of a series of international sports in La Liga that has been operating in several markets since 2015, and the most distinctive thing about this series of projects will be launched in Spain, which will be mainly staged in the world-class complex, escmad Madrid Center.

Juan Florit, La Liga Sports Programme Manager in charge of the technical sports areas of la Liga's grassroots football programme, explains: "This programme is a new area of expertise conceived by the sports team and the International Business and Development team... We will focus primarily on the all-round development of young players, the international training of professionals in related industries, and the promotion and support of international tournaments organized by the La Liga Club Academy. ”

This new plan represents a new step forward in the creation and implementation of sports in La Liga. Over the past six seasons, La Liga has had great success in this area, including finding positions for almost 750 Spanish coaches and providing professional training to more than 20,000 coaches and 175,000 players in more than 400 projects carried out in 38 countries.

Javier Hernandez, head of business and international development for the programme, said: "We have been working on training players and coaches in the international arena for many years, and we have taken this career to the next level, both for those who work with La Liga, for the league itself and its clubs... We believe that today with the establishment of la Liga's grassroots football programme and the new projects that will be carried out at the ESC Madrid centre, we will be able to create better opportunities for everyone. ”

Two major projects and unique world-class facilities

La Liga's grassroots football programme offers a wide variety of programs that improve the performance of athletes by using the power of sport as an educational tool to promote the all-round development of athletes. In this project, two long-term programmes for young players from all over the world will be implemented in Spain, the most notable of which are:

La Liga Talent and La Liga Academy

Aimed at male and female athletes aged 12 to 18, the two programmes are designed to provide these young athletes with an all-encompassing training experience that takes into account and supports their personal development, both on and off the pitch. The main difference between the two schemes is that the audience of La Liga talent is concentrated on players who are already engaged in an efficient training environment, with the aim of helping them develop and maximize their talents to achieve the best level. La Liga Academy, on the other hand, is committed to allowing players to experience La Liga's unique training methods and educational programs, and helping them improve their ability to optimize themselves.

These programmes will include short- and long-term activity plans, such as La Liga training camps, efficient training camps for teams and mixed groups and international players. The purpose of these programs is to improve the preparation and future development of individuals and groups.

All of the above will take place at the ESC Madrid Center in Spain, a state-of-the-art multi-sport centre that will open in the summer of 2022.

The centre has a residence for up to 400 people, is equipped with a 24-hour security system, and also has an international school equipped with an auditorium, library, laboratory, clinic, as well as a games room, lounge and study room. Not only that, but the center also has two state-of-the-art soccer fields as well as a variety of training grounds, an NBA field, gymnasium and swimming pool. Overall, these have made the centre complementary to physical training and academic education, making it an ideal place to nurture La Liga's grassroots football programme.

These facilities will be available to all La Liga clubs wishing to carry out training programs, develop brand internationalization projects or have other needs, and they will also be able to use la Liga management software, which was created by La Liga to optimize the academy's management and day-to-day operations.
