Whiteside joins the Jazz

ESPN reporter Woj reported that agent Sean Kennedy revealed that center Hassan Whiteside has joined the Jazz.

Previously, the Jazz sent out substitute center Derek Favors in order to save luxury taxes.

Whiteside has played for the Blazers and Kings for the past two seasons. Averaging 8.1 points and six rebounds per game in 15 minutes last season, his basket is still outstanding.
