Between 1996 and 1998, when the Shenzhen Sports Brigade was preparing to set up a diving team, the Shenzhen Sports Decision-making Department actively took action and began to select reserve talents for small age groups suitable for diving sports special training inside and outside the province.
He Zi became one of the first six members to be introduced to the Shenzhen diving team, when He Zi was only 9 years old.
After arriving at the professional team, the amount of training increased a lot more than before, He Zi cried almost every day after practicing, cried and slept, slept up and continued to practice, this state lasted for several months.
During this period, his father, He Changtai, accompanied his daughter He Zi until she gradually adapted to this training style and then returned home to Nanning to continue working.
Watching him gradually adapt to this professional training mode, his level is gradually improving, but at this time, the Shenzhen diving team is the news that it is going to be disbanded.
So He Zi stood at the crossroads together, and this time she still chose to dive, so she was selected for the Tsinghua diving team through selection.
At that time, the coach of the Tsinghua diving team was Yu Fen, the former deputy head coach of the Chinese diving team, who brought out fu mingxia, Sun Shuwei and other world champions.
Moreover, the reason why the Chinese diving team was able to achieve such good results at that time had a lot to do with the former diving team head coach Xu Yiming and deputy head coach Yu Fen.
It is a series of training methods they have developed that allow the Chinese diving team to produce so many championships, but because of some contradictions between the Swimming Association and the General Administration of Swimming.
Yu Fen and Xu Yiming were forced to leave the national diving team, and Zhou Jihong, a former ordinary coach, became the leader of the diving team.
Yu Fen came to Tsinghua to establish Tsinghua Diving by herself, when Yu Fen was already a well-known diving talent training expert, so world champions like Fu Mingxia, Xiong Qingqing, Lau Lishi and so on had joined the Tsinghua diving team.

In 2006, at the age of 16, He Zi was selected for the Chinese diving team and studied under Hu Enyong.
As early as before entering the national team, Hu Enyong heard the evaluation of He Zi as "difficult, good strength, and strong control ability", but no one has ever said that He Zi's movements are beautiful.
That is to say, although He Zi has talent in jumping water, her foundation is thin, her movements are rough, and the so-called jade is not a tool, and what He Zi needs most at this time is a coach who can help her transform.
Hu Enyong played this role very well, and there were many good seedlings in the previous Chinese diving team, but many children gave up halfway.
This is because these children are promoted by pulling out seedlings in order to achieve results as soon as possible, and He Zi also has a trend in this regard after entering the national team, because she clearly feels the gap between her and her teammates.
Fortunately, He Zi met her mentor Hu Enyong, and she stopped He Zi's behavior in time to help her train correctly, lay a good foundation, and make the movements more beautiful.
So a year after entering the national team, He Zi won the silver medal in the single and double 3m boards at the Asian Games, and she became the women's one-meter board champion at the 2007 World Championships.
At that time, He Zi was on the one-meter board, and her difficulty coefficient belonged to few female players who could complete it, and this world championship champion was also the Chinese team's first time in 13 years to win the world championship one-meter board women's singles championship.
