On the occasion of celebrating the 65th anniversary of the peaceful liberation of Tibet, the premiere ceremony of the movie "Watching the Sky Lake" and the film publicity week kicked off in Lassala on the 25th.
"Watching the Heavenly Lake" is jointly produced by the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Propaganda Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, the Organization Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee, and the Shandong Film and Television Media Group. With the theme of "Sticking to Tibet", the film fully demonstrates the great contributions made by cadres aiding Tibet to Tibet's economic and social development by telling the touching story of hydrological aid cadres taking root in Tibet and selfless dedication, and is an excellent film work that carries forward the main theme and transmits positive energy.
According to reports, the film was filmed in June 2013 at an altitude of 4,700 meters in Khamma County, Shigatse. In 2014, the film was selected by the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television as a "53 Outstanding Film and Television Drama Gift Works celebrating the 65th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China", which is a key support project for the prosperity of literary and artistic creation by the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of the Tibet Autonomous Region, and is also a major achievement of cultural exchanges between Tibet and Shandong.
It is reported that the film will also be screened in Shigatse City on May 28.

Everest Theater premiered "Auspicious Shigatse"
