Pippi Movies / A great movie recommendation every day
Since Disney created the MCU Marvel Cinematic Universe, major film companies have followed suit and launched their own cinematic universe projects, and so far many universes have failed, and the only thing that can persist and develop steadily is the "Conjuring" movie universe created by Wen Ziren.

Marvel's nemesis Warner DC, after experiencing many film failures, is obviously "Aquaman" that can make him raise his eyebrows, but "Aquaman" is also from Wen Ziren's hand.
As early as 2011, after joining forces with his old partner Ray Werner to launch "Latent", Wen Ziren clearly had an idea for his next film plan.
He had a crush on the famous American paranormal investigator Warren and his wife, Ed Warren, a "demonologist", and his wife, Rowling Warren, a psychic medium, who founded a "paranormal research society" in New England in the United States in 1952, engaged in paranormal investigation for 50 years, and investigated more than 1,000 psychic cases.
These large and small cases are undoubtedly a huge asset for shooting supernatural horror movies.
Therefore, Wen Ziren gave up the previous film creation method of fictional stories by his own team, and instead adapted the story from real events, with his own unique script creation and camera control, to create a real and illusory "Conjuring" movie universe.
Released in 2013, "The Conjuring" is the first work of the series universe.

The film is based on the novel "True Story: House of Light in the Dark House" narrated by the Warrens and Andra Perlen, which takes place in 1970 after the haunting of the Perren family in Rhode Island (this novel has not yet been introduced, Andra Perrin has found its e-book on the Internet, but the whole book is pure English, and the difficulty of reading varies from person to person).
The Perren family consisted of seven, roger Perren and Carolyn Perren with their five daughters, Andrea, Nancy, Christine, Cindy and April.
This family is high-valued!
In fact, all the main actors in the movie, including the Warren family, Patrick Wilson who plays Ed Warren, Vera Farmiga who plays Rowling Warren, and Sterling Jerris, who plays their daughter Judy Warren, are extremely good-looking.
Playing Roger Perren's big-eyed uncle Ron Riverstone, Pigo had a good impression of him as early as watching "Company of Brothers".
This is Wen Ziren's intention, there are high-value actors in horror movies, which can effectively alleviate the psychological pressure caused by the tension and stimulation of the plot, after all, who doesn't like good-looking actors?
Roger Perlen bought a large villa on the outskirts of Rhode Island and the family happily moved in.
But a strange thing happened, their big dog sat in the doorway and didn't dare to enter the house, and then inexplicably died the next day.
Roger also found a passing pigeon dead under the window of their house, and soon found a dusty basement in the house.
The family's youngest daughter found a music box and would often talk to the air afterwards.
Creating an atmosphere is Wen Ziren's specialty, such as the hand that suddenly stretches out in the closet when playing hide-and-seek.
Someone dragging their feet while sleeping...
Wen Ziren's stun stun shot, from the bottom of the bed to the 180-degree inverted perspective behind the door.
Suddenly the door closes...
The pictures hanging on the walls have fallen...
The hostess Caroline's horrific encounter in the basement begins with a heavy roll down the stairs.
Sit up with a confused face...
The ball pops up suddenly...
Scared even the rolling belt to climb upstairs...
A pair of hands suddenly stretched out behind his back...
None of this uses special effects technology, but it can use fast-switching shots, sharp editing and eerie acoustics to create a terrifying atmosphere that makes the audience's emotions tense to the extreme.
Until the final ghost appeared, it was only less than two seconds, but it was like a volcanic eruption that released the audience's tense emotions.
The Perrens knew that the house was unlucky, so they invited the Warrens to exorcise the demons.
As soon as Rowling stepped through the door, she knew that the evil spirits in the house were extraordinary.
The Warrens dug deeper into the history of the house, which was originally built in 1863 by a man named Jadson Sheman, who married a woman named Bashiba.
Bashiba was actually a witch who later gave birth to a child, but was sacrificed to Satan.
Later she cursed everyone who tried to take away her land, and then hanged herself.
For the next 108 years, strange things happened in the land.
As the warrens began preparations for the exorcism ceremony, the evil spirits in the house began to vent their anger.
Its mana is boundless, and it can grab people's hair and make the whole person fly up and crash into the wall.
Rocking chairs were also used as weapons...
The hostess Caroline was possessed and dragged into the basement...
Man and evil spirits then engaged in tit-for-tat combat.
Possessed by evil spirits, Caroline was wrapped in sheets and tied to a chair.
Constantly spitting blood during the exorcism...
Ed took out the Bible to exorcise demons...
Only by calling out the names of evil spirits can God know the intentions of the exorcists and thus send messengers to punish them.
While calling out the evil spirit's name , Bashiba " , Rowling encourages Caroline not to give up and guides her to recall the good old days of the family reunion.
It was inspired by the family's affection that Caroline gained strength.
Caroline finally drove the evil spirit out of her body, and after vomiting dirt on the ground, she returned to her true nature.
The film finally has a sunny ending, and Peren's family is safely out of trouble.
The Warrens succeeded in exorcising the souls, and the evil spirits in the house were also removed.
The Warrens took the music box home, and it has since become one of the collections of the Warren family's "Psychic Museum", which is still quietly stored there today.
At the end of the film, real photos of Perren's family are also released.
The five sisters are still alive today, and they were invited to meet with the whole crew during the filming of the film tidbits, and took this photo with the little Lolita who played them in the film.
The reason why Pi Ge likes Wen Ziren's horror film works, in addition to the cleverness of his use of lenses, is also his control of scale.
As in this film, we will find that in fact, no one has died from beginning to end, just a dog and a pigeon, but in fact, the thriller effect is still at its peak.
And the final ending returns to the theme of family, although it is not a family movie, but it has a bright and warm ending like a family movie, bringing a rare warmth to people.
Therefore, Pi Ge has always called it "Wen Ziren's inspirational horror film", and often recommends it to friends around him who dare not watch horror movies.
Of course, the ambitious Wen Ziren is not limited to this film, he inserts a large Easter egg in the film, and uses a long page at the beginning to show, which is the most evil "treasure of the town hall" Annabelle in the "Spiritual Museum".
On the left is a somewhat cute prototype, and on the right is a modified version of the movie.
The weird thing about this doll is that it moves on its own and does a lot of frightening things, and after being discovered by the Warrens, it is kept in a special glass frame.
Wen Ziren later developed two biographies with Annabelle as the protagonist.
Ed Warren died in 2006, and now only Rowling Warren is left alone to guard the private museum.
Their story is now led by Wen Ziren to launch 5 works, namely two "The Conjuring" canon directed by him, and three sequels "Annabelle" (double episodes) and "Nun" as producers.
The next film plan also includes "The Conjuring 3", "Annabelle 3" and "Hunchback", of which "Conjuring 3" and "Annabelle 3" have confirmed that there will be Warren and his wife.
Based on interviews with the Warrens, the American writer Gerald Bullitt wrote the book "The Call: The Warrens' Shocking Profession" in 1980, which was translated into Chinese by the Beijing Times Chinese Literature Bureau and published.
Because Pigo is a die-hard fan of this series, he also bought a copy early, but because he was busy with work, he never read it.
