Great news! Jiande Museum will be fully decorated in the second half of the year!
Jiande City Museum is located in the East Jiangbin Landscape Park block of Qiaoqiao, Xin'anjiang Street, Jiande City, and is a thematic museum.
The building was built by the City Chengxing City Defense Company, Professor Yan Jianqiang of the Museum Department of Zhejiang University and his team were responsible for the internal design and construction, and the Municipal Bureau of Culture, Culture, Tourism and Sports took the lead in setting up a special class to assist in the relevant work.
The building area is 9891 square meters, with three floors above ground. The total investment is nearly 160 million, of which: civil construction investment is about 0.5 billion, interior decoration projects are estimated at 103 million. Jiande City Museum is an important part of the "two museums and two centers" cultural complex project.
Proposed functional layout
The first floor (natural environment and resource exhibition hall, cultural history exhibition hall, second classroom, etc.); second floor (intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall, Shou Chongde calligraphy and painting exhibition hall and temporary exhibition hall, etc.); third floor (warehouse and office area, etc.).
1. Nature Hall
Focus on the natural environment of Jiande's geological history, focus on displaying the biota fossils named after Jiande, in the form of sand tables and scenes, special effects and photoelectric presentation, to give visitors a rich visual experience, more comprehensive display of Jiande's natural resources and related natural science knowledge.
2. History Hall
With the development of historical timing as the main line, the physical display is a historical witness to the precipitation of Jiande culture, which begins with the "Jiande people" from the late Pleistocene and connects with the tail of the Natural Hall. From the human relics of 100,000 years ago to the Jiande since modern times, the historical development of Jiande is comprehensively displayed through design.
3. Intangible Cultural Heritage Hall
The content of the exhibition is mainly 14 items on the provincial intangible cultural heritage list, 24 items in the Hangzhou municipal list, and 101 items at the municipal level, showing the intangible cultural heritage items in the scene. Starting from the marriage customs of the fishermen with nine surnames, it finally set off the atmosphere of the jubilant festival with Li Village's pavilion, dancing pure children, and the broken dragons of the various families.
4. Shou Chongde Calligraphy and Painting Hall
Introduce the history and achievements of Shou Chongde's art calligraphy and painting, as well as the role played in the inheritance and development of the Xin'an School.
5. Temporary exhibition hall
The temporary exhibition hall will undertake various large-scale thematic cultural relics exhibitions, famous painting photography exhibitions and various exchange exhibitions, so the design focuses on the supporting services of multi-functional exhibitions.
The project entered the interior renovation phase in early October 2019 and is expected to be completed and officially opened to the public in the second half of this year. At the same time, the new library of our city and the activity center for women, young and children are also advancing in an orderly manner, and the "two museums and two centers" (museum, library, women and children's activity center and youth activity center) as a cultural complex are gradually presented in the Qiaodong Jiangbin Landscape Park, and the city will have a new landmark for cultural tourism.
