I don't know if you have seen the movie "Little Q" some time ago. As a relatively high-level dog movie in recent years, I still met people on Amway. At that time, when I went to see it, it was a group of people who chartered the show, and the audience basically had dogs, and the movie-watching experience was naturally on the next level.

Because I have seen the Japanese version of "Guide Dog Little Q", I went to see it with a contrasting eye. From the perspective of shooting, "Little Q" was filmed in Hong Kong, which greatly increased the difficulty in terms of the environment of many stairs and overpasses on the ground in Hong Kong. The director also used a variety of long shots to interpret the story, which is indeed more attempts. From the plot point of view, "Little Q" added a plot of stealing dogs for the conflict of plots, which is actually quite dramatic. But when I watched it, I heard the sound of sobbing next to me from time to time, and everyone was still attracted by this story of "love and loyalty".
But what moved people about "Little Q" was actually the attitude of the production staff to the film! There are many dog action scenes that make people worry, but after understanding, it is found that the production staff respects and loves the dog actors quite a lot.
(The following section is suspected of spoilers)
At first, the male protagonist refused to accept the fact that he had become blind, and threw his anger on Xiao Q, and even drove him downstairs. In fact, after seemingly noisy shots, they are actually playing as a game. First let the male protagonist play the game of "drive it down the stairs" with it, and give snack rewards after playing. As a result, when filming, the dog also thought that it was playing, and after the shooting, he consciously came to beg for food, and looked very happy. In the early stage, there are many scenes where the male protagonist dislikes Little Q, and if he does not shoot in the way of games, it will only be more and more difficult to shoot later. Therefore, respecting the dog is also the most important part of the whole shooting process.
When Little Q was driven downstairs on a rainy night and shivered under the car, it was actually a change of ordinary dog. As a guide dog, in fact, leaving the owner is not a reaction. According to the director, letting the guide dogs participate does not ruin them, so this scene is replaced by another trained dog actor. In the scene where the male protagonist wants to commit suicide and Little Q protects the lord, it is also filmed separately to avoid the dog being hurt.
Later, the male protagonist wants to leave Xiao Q to go to the United States because of physical reasons, which is definitely the most heart-wrenching place in the whole film. After Xiao Q found that the owner had left, he desperately ran to catch up, running for several streets. I was thinking, would it hurt a dog to run a few streets like this? But a closer look reveals that this is not a dog. After checking it, I found that the director should have used 7 dogs, coupled with the way of post-editing, making people look as if Little Q was desperately chasing a few streets. Many people next to them cried when they saw this scene, and had to say that the shooting and editing of this section of the film were very successful.
In the end, Little Q gets sick and shrinks when walking with weakness in his hind legs. At that time, I felt a little awkward looking at the strange posture, but later I learned that it was actually wrapped in green cloth to wrap part of the foot, and finally it was done with CG processing. When it is particularly funny, because the dog that starred in this paragraph is a male dog, but Xiao Q is a female dog, so when wrapping the green cloth, the staff also wrapped the reproductive organs of the male dog by the way, and deleted it with one click in the later stage, which has a section of the elderly little Q limping.
If you look closely, you will find that from puppies to old age, there are many Labradors in the film. It is so many nameless dogs that hold up the whole movie together.
Compared with the previous "Inuyasha King", in order to show the image of a military dog, it is really necessary to sacrifice a military dog! If in order to let more people know about guide dogs, and hurt the guide dog actors during filming, this is the end of the horse, and it is not what the audience wants to see. During the filming process, "Little Q" tried to reduce the damage to the dogs and let them finish shooting like a play, which is what makes the film more touching.
